Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton have been quietly dating for several months, first sparking rumors when they were spotted together at Kate Hudson’s New Year’s Eve party. They’ve now publicly confirmed their relationship, making their debut as a couple at the Super Bowl.

This is the first person Kim Kardashian has dated since her breakup with Pete Davidson.

The Daily Mail consulted an astrologer to see if Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton’s relationship has a future.

‘This is not a match made in heaven,’ Mary Moonstone told Daily Mail on Friday. 

The astrologer believes the 45-year-old actress and the 41-year-old race car driver might have difficulties in their relationship due to their zodiac signs – she’s a Libra and he’s a Capricorn.

Libras, born between September 23rd and October 22nd, are an air sign known for their desire for balance and harmony. The scales symbolize this trait, and they are governed by the planet Venus.

As a lifestyle expert, I often get asked about the signs, and when it comes to Capricorns – those born between December 22nd and January 19th – I always say they’re the ultimate grounded force! Being an earth sign, and guided by the planet Saturn, they naturally excel at being disciplined, reliable, and taking responsibility seriously. They’re the people you can always count on.

Kardashian was born on October 21, 1980 while Hamilton was born on January 7, 1985.

According to Moonstone, Libras tend to be thoughtful and indecisive, preferring to consider all angles and welcome different perspectives before making a decision.

Capricorns are typically practical and prefer stability and routine. They’re quite different from people who are flighty or impractical.

Disagreements will likely arise from differing perspectives. As Moonstone explained, “She might impulsively decide on a spontaneous trip, while he prefers to carefully plan things in advance.”

But there is hope. 

Air and earth signs can often benefit from each other’s perspectives. Especially since they’re both in their 40s and have a lot of life experience, they might be mature enough to understand and appreciate how the other thinks. If they accept their differences and are willing to learn, the relationship could be very rewarding.

The first year of dating, however, may be bumpy.

According to Moonstone, both individuals seem to be strong-willed leaders, meaning they’ll need to figure out when to compromise to avoid conflict, as they’re likely to disagree on many issues.

‘But if they can work that out, that would be lovely,’ she added.

Moonstone also noted that Kardashian’s ex-husband, Kanye West, shares her air sign element – he’s a Gemini, just like she’s a Libra.

According to Moonstone, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were surprisingly well-matched based on their astrological signs. As both are air signs, they shared a similar way of thinking, a desire for personal growth, a social nature, and a strong sense of curiosity.

‘Air signs like to communicate and share ideas, they like to change and evolve.’

Unlike some signs, Hamilton believes Capricorns aren’t easily swayed. They tend to be disciplined and prefer sticking to routines and proven methods, making them more set in their ways than signs like Libra or Gemini.

Being with someone grounded and practical, like a person born under an earth sign (Hamilton), might be a better match for the billionaire entrepreneur than someone who is more intellectual and detached, like another air sign (West).

Kim’s had a pretty eventful romantic history, and a steady relationship with a Capricorn like Lewis might be exactly what she’s looking for now. He could provide the stability and security she needs, and they could be a great couple if she’s willing to be a little flexible.

When questioned about a potential wedding in 2026, Moonstone didn’t think it would happen. They believe the couple has a strong, long-term friendship of over a decade, so there won’t be a breakup, but Lewis is practical and won’t rush into a proposal. Moonstone suggested a wedding might be possible next year, but not this year.
