Leigh-Anne Pinnock sizzles in a racy fringed dress in Brazil after ex-bandmate Jesy Nelson said she felt Little Mix ignored her cries for help ahead of secret suicide attempt

On Thursday, Leigh-Anne Pinnock took the stage at Carnival 2026 in Salvador, Brazil, shortly after her former Little Mix bandmate, Jesy Nelson, publicly revealed the reasons for leaving the group.

The 34-year-old singer looked stunning in a revealing red and green fringed dress.

Leigh-Anne’s outfit was striking, and she seemed to be wearing it without a bra. She completed the look with bright orange heels and bold bangles.

This news follows Jesy Nelson’s revelation that she attempted suicide shortly before leaving the successful band.

In a new documentary series on Prime Video, released February 13th, Jesy Nelson shared that she felt incredibly isolated and claimed her former Little Mix bandmates – Leigh-Anne, Perrie Edwards, and Jade Thirlwall – didn’t respond to her pleas for help before her overdose.

This was Jesy’s second suicide attempt, following a previous overdose in 2013, which she detailed in her BBC documentary, Jesy Nelson: Odd One Out.

Jesy shared that she was feeling incredibly sad and low. After being in the hospital, she realized she wasn’t mentally strong enough to continue being in the band.

Jesy Nelson described a difficult conversation with her Little Mix bandmates shortly before a suicide attempt. She explained she’d shared how she was feeling, but one of them responded by asking if she was finished talking – essentially, if she was done sharing her struggles.

When she asked if she could leave, it made me feel incredibly isolated and hopeless, like nobody understood or cared what I was going through.

Jesy’s mother, Janice, called for help when Jesy suddenly passed out during a phone conversation with her.

Janice said that in the days leading up to this, she hadn’t been herself – she was quiet and withdrawn, and mostly wanted to be left alone.

I had a strong feeling that something was wrong. I tried calling repeatedly, but she didn’t pick up. When she finally answered, her speech was very slurred.

‘I heard the phone drop and didn’t hear anything else – I knew she’d done something.’

Janice explained that Jesy didn’t feel supported by her former bandmates in Little Mix, contributing to the end of their friendship.

She said: ‘I can see why they [the other Little Mix members] did get angry at times.’

She continued: ‘It’s hard to work with someone who is always down when you are always happy.

I feel like when Jesy was really struggling, the other girls weren’t fully supportive, and that’s likely a big reason why she’s hurting now.

Following Jesy’s second suicide attempt, her mother, Janice, held her close and firmly told her, “That’s enough now. You need to stop doing things that make you feel this way.”

It was at that moment in hospital recovery, Jesy made the decision to quit.

When Jesy Nelson overdosed, she was scheduled to perform in the final episode of Little Mix’s BBC show, The Search.

Chris Ramsey, the show’s host, announced that Jesy was sick, explaining why she wasn’t on the show that day.

After seeking legal advice, Jesy said her lawyers delivered the news to her bandmates.

Jesy felt people were really hurt by how things unfolded, and she believes it shouldn’t have happened that way. She was upset she didn’t have a chance to explain why she needed to leave, and felt frustrated that opportunity was denied to her.

I prepared myself emotionally and decided it was time to talk to the girls. I wanted to explain my actions and share how I’d been feeling, hoping they would understand my perspective.

My manager called and told me the team was willing to talk, but they’d only feel comfortable doing so with a therapist present.

I just felt so confused and hurt. I had just gotten out of the hospital and really needed their support, but it didn’t seem like they understood that.

‘I don’t know, I just didn’t feel like they were my sisters.’

Jesy described the phone call as incredibly awkward and strange, like talking to people she didn’t know at all. It was, she said, the most uncomfortable conversation she’d ever had, and no one seemed to know what to say.

That was the last time we ever talked as a team, and honestly, it’s been five years and I still second-guess it. Were they the problem, or was it the people running things? I’m afraid I’ll never have a clear answer.
