Gwyneth Paltrow’s ‘nepo baby’ Apple Martin, 21, reveals what cosmetic procedures she has had done

Apple Martin, the daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, recently revealed she has had cosmetic procedures.

Now 21, she’s followed in her parents’ footsteps and started a modeling career while also being a student and member of a sorority at Vanderbilt University.

She recently shared her skincare routine in a Vogue video, revealing the secrets to her look and explaining how she cares for her skin as a busy college student.

I’m admitting now that I had lip filler once,” the celebrity explained. “I believe I got it when I was eighteen, but I quickly realized it was too much.”

She noticed people were commenting that she seemed to have had lip filler, but she clarified that it was just a habit of pursing her lips and using lip liner to define them.

In the video, Apple showed a makeup trick to make lips appear fuller. She explained her ‘lip filler optical illusion,’ which involves applying lip liner just slightly above the natural lip line. She advises following the natural shape of your lips and only going a very small amount above it.

After applying a full face of makeup, including a lip-plumping gloss, she playfully told her fans, ‘Notice my lips? It’s just the gloss, not any filler!’

At the beginning of the video, Apple – who had gained a somewhat mysterious online following – said it felt like this was the first time many people were hearing her speak.

Gwyneth Paltrow has never admitted to having plastic surgery, though she has said she’s had laser treatments and Botox.

A fan once asked her on Instagram if she’d ever had Botox, and she responded honestly, saying she had – with both good and not-so-good results.

Gwyneth Paltrow recently revealed she used to get lip fillers, just after sharing that she tried a $50,000 blood-filtering treatment in Chicago – a procedure that has sparked debate.

Therapeutic plasma exchange is a medical procedure sometimes called a ‘detox’ that removes harmful substances, such as mold and tiny plastic particles, from the blood.

During this process, blood is taken from the body. The problematic substances within the blood’s fluid portion, called plasma, are removed, and the plasma is then replaced with fresh plasma.

Gwyneth Paltrow told Richard Eden of the Daily Mail that she’d been struggling with a variety of health issues – the kind that are often difficult for doctors to diagnose, like chronic fatigue and brain fog.

The founder of Goop explained she was fascinated by the possibility of removing substances from our blood that contribute to illness.

She said she felt fantastic after the procedure, describing an instant feeling of relief, mental clarity, and lightness.

Okay, so, I’ve been following Goop since the very beginning – 2008! – and honestly, it’s just… fascinating. They’re not afraid to talk about anything. I mean, they’ve given advice that’s… well, let’s just say it’s unique. Like, they once suggested vaginal steaming, which… wow. And then there was that whole thing about underwire bras potentially causing cancer? It’s wild! I can’t look away, even if some of it sounds completely out there. It’s just… Goop is always something.

Since then, the brand has continued to grow, and five years ago it launched its own Netflix series, The Goop Lab.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin separated in 2014, and she famously described the process as ‘conscious uncoupling,’ which received a lot of criticism. Despite the split, they continued to maintain a friendly relationship as they co-parented their children.

Apple has recently gained more public attention, notably attending the Chanel fashion show in Paris in 2023 as a front-row guest.

I was so excited to see her make her official debut in 2024! She attended Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris – it’s the event for young women entering high society. She looked absolutely stunning, and was escorted by Count Leo Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck, which just added to the fairytale of it all.

She’s going to the event with the son of filmmaker Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, who directed the acclaimed movie The Lives of Others. He comes from a prominent, historic family with roots in the old Habsburg Empire.
