Lana Del Rey and her husband, Jeremy Dufrene, were surrounded by excited fans as they left their hotel in New York after attending a Fashion Week event.
The couple attended Ralph Lauren’s New York Fashion Week show on Wednesday, joining a crowd of famous faces.
The 40-year-old singer and her 50-year-old husband, who leads alligator tours, left their New York hotel Thursday morning after making an appearance.
Okay, so picture this: my clients, a lovely couple, were just leaving their hotel, and they were immediately surrounded by fans! Everyone wanted a piece of the singer – you know, an autograph and a quick hello. It was a total scene, all because of her hit song, ‘Summertime Sadness.’ It’s always fun to see that kind of excitement, but also a little chaotic for them, of course!
Lana was escorted through the crowd by a bodyguard, signing autographs for fans as she went. Jeremy was right behind her.
They hopped into a taxi that was waiting, and Lana was all smiles as they drove off.
The couple shared a sweet kiss on the red carpet earlier that day while attending an event for the famous designer.
The couple looked just as in love as ever following their wedding in September 2024.
Although New York Fashion Week’s winter season officially begins on February 11th, both Ralph Lauren and Marc Jacobs decided to showcase their collections earlier in the week.
Lana, whose full name is Elizabeth Grant, and her husband dressed in relaxed, stylish outfits that matched each other and the brand’s timeless aesthetic.
Lana Del Rey, who seldom appears in public with her husband, wore a brown leather jacket with hints of red. The jacket had long, loose sleeves that nearly covered her hands.
She wore a white, ruffled blouse under her jacket. Its frilly sleeves were visible, peeking out from the edges.
Lana paired the top with a long, cream-colored skirt that was slightly see-through and featured floral embroidery.
It partially covered up her burgundy leather cowboy boots, which complemented her jacket.
She continued the leather look with a brown, crescent-shaped bag featuring fringe details.
Oh my gosh, Lana just completely nailed her look! She piled on all these gorgeous necklaces – it took her western outfit and gave it this amazing, effortless boho vibe. And her hair? Seriously, it was perfect. That rich brunette color, styled with a middle part and these huge, flowing curls… I’m obsessed! It just cascaded down her shoulders, it was breathtaking.
Jeremy and his wife both liked his Ralph Lauren leather jacket, which costs $1,900.
The jacket had a relaxed, zip-up style and a naturally worn look, with subtle color variations appearing on the areas that had aged the most.
He opted for a casual outfit with a beige button-down shirt, dark blue jeans, and black suede boots, creating a contrast to his wife’s more eye-catching cowboy boots.
Jeremy shielded his eyes with black wraparound sunglasses and showed his support for Ralph Lauren by wearing a navy corduroy cap. The cap featured the logo for RRL, Ralph Lauren’s line of rugged, Western-inspired workwear.
Jeremy and his partner first crossed paths in 2019 while on one of Jeremy’s trips to the swamp. They found each other again after a few years and got married in September 2024.
Last August, Lana shared the story of how she met her husband, a tour guide in the Louisiana bayous who works with alligators.
Lana told W magazine that Jeremy, similar to others who work with big, dangerous animals, has a naturally calm and authoritative demeanor.
‘When we met, I realised pretty immediately that I loved him, but that it might get difficult because of what I was bringing to the table,’ she continued.
Lana added that Jeremy reassured her from the start: ‘I work with alligators — I have tough skin.’
He kept his promise and patiently listened through everything, even when I was really upset. No matter what bothered me, he’d simply say, “Be yourself, and I’ll love you even more.”
Tying the knot in 2024 didn’t make the spotlight any gentler.
Let me tell you, dealing with fame definitely has its downsides. My husband and I really felt the pressure when we first got married. It got to the point where we were constantly being watched – there were even reports of drones flying over our house, just to get pictures of our wedding and our life as newlyweds. It was a really invasive experience, and honestly, quite unsettling.
She chuckled, saying, “If I were in his shoes, I’d be a wreck! I get overwhelmed pretty easily, and Jeremy just seemed totally calm. He told me not to worry about him at all.”
