They welcomed their first child together in December last year.
Jamie Laing, 37, and his wife, Sophie Habboo, 31, had a rare night off from childcare duties on Wednesday, attending the EE BAFTA Rising Star party at La Mome London.
Jamie looked sharp in a dark grey suit and a simple black t-shirt as he arrived with his beautiful wife, his arm around her.
The couple, who recently welcomed their son Ziggy, appeared very happy and in love while posing for pictures at the glamorous event.
Sophie looked stunning in a little black dress with a low V-neck, an off-the-shoulder style, and a gathered, short skirt.
She showed off her long legs with the outfit, pairing it with slightly see-through black tights and pointed heels made of mesh to add extra height.
The mother carried her necessary items in a small black clutch while posing confidently before the event.
The nominees for the 2026 EE BAFTA Rising Star Award were announced last month and include Archie Madekwe (known for his role in ‘Lurker’), Chase Infiniti (‘One Battle After Another’), Miles Caton (‘Sinners’), Posy Sterling (‘Lollipop’), and Robert Aramayo (‘I Swear’).
This award is widely considered a stepping stone to becoming a major star. Past recipients include well-known actors like Tom Holland, James McAvoy, Tom Hardy, Lashana Lynch, and Kristen Stewart.
Mia McKenna-Bruce, the 2024 EE Rising Star Award winner, and film critic and radio host Ali Plumb hosted the event.
A panel of industry professionals – including actors Joe Alwyn, Sheila Atim, and Benedict Wong, as well as other experts – selected the nominees.
Posy, known for her role in the popular British film Lollipop, shared that she was hiking with friends when she received the news of her nomination.
The 33-year-old actress remembered getting a call from her agent who asked her location and what she was up to. She replied that she was hiking on a mountain and wondered about her agent’s whereabouts.
She asked if I was alone, and I told her I wasn’t – I was with two friends. She then advised me to go somewhere private, and that’s where I discovered something upsetting. After that, I had to keep it to myself and couldn’t talk about it.
Robert, the star of the movie I Swear – which is based on the life of John Davidson, a man who advocated for people with Tourette’s syndrome – said his parents were overjoyed and emotional when they heard about his award nomination. They were reportedly both crying and jumping for joy.
The 33-year-old actor shared that he’d told his parents, and they reacted with a lot of emotion – there was crying and excitement. He described it as a very intense moment.
He shared that today was a day he’d always remember. He was incredibly inspired by the other nominees and past winners of the EE Rising Star Award, who had all set a high standard.
If young Robert could see himself now, as a nominee for the EE Rising Star Award, he would be incredibly proud.
