Jessica Alba’s daughter, Honor, playfully reacted with amusement when she saw her mom appear during Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance.
The actress shared her excitement on Instagram about the rapper’s performance, calling it a privilege to witness such a historic event.
Alba’s seventeen-year-old daughter responded to her mother’s post with a comment, sharing how surprised she was to see Alba suddenly on stage.
She was surprised and amused that he’d kept something secret and then suddenly appeared on stage. That’s what she found most striking.
Alba, 44, reacted positively to a comment about keeping her surprise visit a secret, using a laughing emoji as her only response. Honor had described keeping it ‘on the down low’.
The actress known for her role in The Fantastic Four responded to criticism about her dancing at Bad Bunny’s concert by posting a video. The video combined clips from the TV broadcast with behind-the-scenes footage.
Along with Karol G, Cardi B, Pedro Pascal, and Alix Earle, she was one of several famous faces who unexpectedly joined Bad Bunny on stage. Their appearances took place on his uniquely designed stage, playfully known as ‘la casita,’ which was built to look like a house.
Alba expressed her excitement and gratitude in a long post, calling it an honor to participate in what she described as a historic event.
She added emojis of hands in prayer or high-fiving, a salsa dancer and a red heart on fire.
She excitedly announced ‘La casita – let’s gooooo!’ then described Bad Bunny’s performance as a joyful and proud tribute to Puerto Rico, and to all of America.
She explained that yesterday’s event wasn’t just a show – it was a powerful demonstration of respect, acceptance, togetherness, and visibility, all fueled by love.
Bad Bunny shares stories inspired by his culture, community, and personal experiences, and yesterday he brought those stories to a massive global audience.
Alba shared that she felt a lot of love and joy while watching him perform, and she was thrilled to be involved in his halftime show.
Honestly, seeing him celebrate everyone in our community was incredibly moving – I got goosebumps! It was one of those moments that didn’t need words; you just felt the connection and the emotion. Sometimes, the most powerful experiences are the ones that transcend language and explanation.
She continued, explaining that yesterday felt purely joyful. She believes that when we celebrate and respect different cultures, and truly see and include people, it brings us together as one.
As Benito wisely stated, love is a stronger force than hate. By embracing love, joy, and togetherness, we can overcome challenges and achieve greatness.
Her social media post received a variety of responses, but people especially loved the playful interaction she had with her daughter, Honor.
Honor is the eldest of three children Alba shares with her estranged husband Cash Warren, 47.
Alba and Warren are also parents to daughter Haven, 14, and seven-year-old son Hayes.
The actress, known for her role in ‘Honey,’ and her husband—a businessman and former movie producer—were married for 16 years before filing for divorce in February 2025.
Later that summer, Alba began dating actor Danny Ramirez, who is famous for his work in films like Top Gun: Maverick and as the character Falcon in Marvel’s superhero films.
Since his divorce, Warren has been seen dating and was rumored to be seeing model Hana Sun Doerr, who is 26, last year.
After nearly twenty years together, Alba and Warren separated, but they’ve continued to work together respectfully to raise their children.
Last December marked the first winter holidays Alba spent with her three children since finalizing her divorce.
Their daughter, Honor, was recently accepted to Yale University and will begin her studies there after graduating high school later this year, as announced on her school’s Instagram page.
Honor will be attending Yale University, where she plans to study English and Film Studies. Her father, Warren, is also a Yale alumnus.
