Kim Kardashian has casually revealed that her daughter Chicago can play the piano.
It seems the eight-year-old child of musician Kanye West, age 48, has shown a similar gift for music, likely inherited from his father.
Kim Kardashian, 45, shared a short video on Instagram Stories Monday of her young daughter playing the piano.
She played the instrument with confidence and skill, appearing completely relaxed even without using sheet music.
I’ve been following Chicago for a while now, and it was wonderful to see her perform! Even celebrating a birthday in January didn’t seem to throw her off – she kept a really solid rhythm and played beautifully with both hands, staying coordinated throughout.
This news follows shortly after North, her older sister, debuted her first song – a rap track called ‘Piercing On My Hand’.
In a video posted by Kardashian, her daughter was seen sitting at a light-colored piano inside their home while her younger brother, Psalm, and a friend playfully wrestled nearby.
Chicago’s curly dark hair was pulled into a ponytail as she wore a patterned pink dress.
North released her new song on Friday, sharing it on social media with artwork showing her—a young teen with vibrant blue hair and finger piercings.
Honestly, I can’t believe the hate! This amazing girl and her mom are just being themselves, and people are attacking them for it? She’s fearless with her style, and she’s not afraid to show the world who she is, and some people are trying to tear her down for being bold? It’s ridiculous! I think her fashion is incredible, and she deserves to express herself without judgment.
North initially debuted dermal piercings on her fingers in November.
People online expressed concern about the potentially dangerous tattoo, but the young person responded with a simple ‘It’s okay’ and a heart emoji.
And in December, the nepo baby addressed critics of her finger piercing in a TikTok video.
She recorded a quick video clip where she said, ‘Stop crying! How old are you? Get yourself together!’
Text over the reel noted: ‘This is for everyone that’s mad over a finger piercing.’
Is it okay for kids to express their individuality through things like unique clothing and body art, or should parents set limits?

In a January interview on Khloe Kardashian’s podcast, Khloe In Wonder Land, Kim Kardashian shared that her daughter North is homeschooled and is also taking a practical music class.
She spends eight hours at home in her music studio, both writing and producing songs. I’ve even started using her lyrics as part of her spelling practice.
The billionaire revealed they make sure to do all the enjoyable and stimulating activities at home.
Elsewhere in the episode, Kardashian staunchly defended her firstborn child.
When asked about criticism of her parenting, she said she doesn’t focus on it because she doesn’t like to judge others.
She explained that it’s impossible for anyone to truly understand what she’s going through unless they’ve experienced it themselves, and how challenging it is to handle things while maintaining a public face.
Kardashian clarified that people misunderstand her relationship with her daughter, thinking she acts more like a friend than a parent and is too lenient.
She explained that North West actually has quite a few rules, but she does allow her daughter to express her own individuality.
