Many current toy lines are drawing on characters and ideas from across the entire Transformers universe, including the younger-focused Transformers: Cyberworld. The latest figure in that line is a new take on a famous female villain, though this version shares some similarities with another well-known character.
New photos of the Transformers: Cyberworld Airachnid toy have appeared online, revealing both her robot and vehicle forms. Her design is reminiscent of her original appearance in the Transformers universe, and also draws inspiration from a Predacon character from the Beast Era. This Airachnid figure, nicknamed “itsy bitsy spider,” will be released later this year and is poised to battle the Autobots.
Transformers’ Creepiest Female Villain Joins the Series’ Latest Toy Line

Airachnid, a Transformer from the Cyberworld series, is one of the easier figures to transform. Released in 2025, this toy changes from a robot to a robotic spider in just four steps. In robot form, she’s almost four inches tall and holds a clawed hammer, which can also be attached to her back when she’s in spider mode.
Airachnid’s animal form, like other Decepticons in the toy series, sets her apart. While Megatron transforms into a robotic bull and Galvatron into a robotic dragon, Airachnid doesn’t follow her usual helicopter design. Instead, she takes on a spider form, making this version of the character much more similar to Blackarachnia from the Beast Wars: Transformers series.
Airachnid’s colors and robot form are a nod to her original appearance, while also drawing inspiration from other spider-themed Transformers like Blackarachnia and Tarantulas. This approach is common in the Transformers: Cyberworld toy line, where characters and designs are often taken from different versions of the franchise. For example, this line’s Galvatron has a robot mode resembling the classic Generation 1 version and a dragon form similar to a lesser-known version from Beast Wars II: Transformers.
This figure shares similarities with the expansive multiverse explored in the Transformers: Legacy line, which is currently available in stores. Airachnid is expected to be released between March and August 2026, and will likely cost around $17.
