The mobile gaming market started 2026 strong, with the most popular games continuing to lead in both downloads and earnings. The top companies generally held their positions, though there were some minor changes in the rankings. Here’s a detailed look at how the biggest mobile game publishers performed in January.

Top Mobile Game Publishers by Downloads for January 2026

In January 2026, Miniclip led the charts with 102.9 million downloads, just ahead of Azur Games at 99.9 million. Voodoo followed in third place with 88.7 million downloads, maintaining its strong position in the hyper-casual gaming market.

BabyBus stayed in fourth place with 87.2 million downloads, and SayGames completed the top five with 79.3 million, continuing its consistent performance. Outfit7 climbed to sixth place with 60.0 million downloads, showing ongoing popularity for its classic apps.

Supercent came in seventh place with 57.5 million downloads, followed by Supersonic Studios in eighth with 51.1 million. CrazyLabs ranked ninth with 46.5 million downloads, and 1SOFT rounded out the top ten with 34.9 million.

Rounding out the top positions were newcomers IvyMobile, along with Tencent Games, Garena International, FreePlay Inc., and Hungry Studio, all of whom consistently rank among the top 15.

Top Mobile Game Publishers by Revenue for January 2026

Tencent Games continued to lead the market in January, earning a significant $542.1 million in revenue. Century Games held onto second place with $202.1 million, maintaining its positive momentum from the beginning of the year.

Scopely climbed to third place with $144.9 million in revenue, just ahead of Dream Games at $143.4 million. Playrix landed in fifth with $122.6 million, and Funfly rounded out the top six with $118.2 million.

King came in seventh place with $109.6 million in earnings, followed by Roblox Corporation at eighth with $106.4 million. Microfun Limited finished ninth with $104.2 million, and NetEase Games rounded out the top ten with $99.8 million, just under $100 million.

The chart also included well-known companies like Bandai Namco Entertainment, Moon Active, Supercell, Cognosphere (HoYoverse), and Florere Game Limited. All of these companies earned over $65 million in January.
