Call of Duty Mobile is celebrating the Lunar New Year with Season 2, called Lunar Charge, launching on February 11, 2026. The update includes new content for all game modes – DMZ: Recon, Multiplayer, and Battle Royale.

Season 2 is here with a festive theme inspired by Chinese stories! You can unlock the new Lachman-556 Assault Rifle through the Battle Pass, try your luck with a new Mythic Weapon draw, and enjoy updated ranked rewards. Let’s take a look at everything new in this season.

Five Gods of Wealth: Fortune Fusion

During the Lunar New Year event, players can complete daily challenges to reveal cards on a special game board. Each card awards Wealth Points, and collecting enough points lets you unlock rewards, including the exclusive Epic Type 25 — Emerald Prosperity Weapon Blueprint.

1v1 Duel Event: Second to None

This event centers around the returning Duel mode and gives players rewards for winning matches and collecting trophies. You can earn Secret Caches, a brand new Merc 2 Operator Skin, and several weapon camos.

Ramadan Event: Starlit Quest

Starting February 16, 2026, a free, seasonal event will be held to celebrate Ramadan. Throughout the event, players can earn special rewards like the Zero — Tranquil Nights, AK47 — Luminous, and SVD — Falcon’s Eye, and these rewards will be available for the duration of the season.

We’re adding more events, including a team challenge in the DMZ, a beach-themed Spring Break event coming in March, and other limited-time activities.

COD Mobile Season 2 2026: Battle Pass and Challenge Pass

Celebrate Lunar New Year in Call of Duty with the Lunar Charge Battle Pass! It features both free and premium items like unique character skins, weapon designs, collectible cards, and even in-game currency.

Battle Pass Free Tiers

The new Lachman-556 assault rifle is available this season, offering a blend of the features of both SMGs and traditional assault rifles. Players can also unlock a Counter UAV reskin, secret caches, weapon camos, and other cosmetic items as part of the free tier rewards.

Premium Pass Tiers

You can unlock cool rewards like character skins – including Park as a VNN Field Reporter, Stitch as The Butcher of Zordaya, and Isabella as Puno. The premium reward track also features weapon blueprints like the DLQ33 Aftermath, PP19 Headliner, SKS Prison Break, and Lachmann-556 Full Steam.

Players with a Ground Forces subscription will get the Daniel – Wartorn Operator Skin, the UL736 – Fortune’s Charge weapon blueprint, and the Fortune’s Charge Backpack. They’ll also receive XP boosts and special discounts in the store.

Challenge Pass

Season 2’s Challenge Pass offers fresh missions – Standard, Special, and Elite – that you can complete to earn tokens. These tokens can then be used to unlock themed rewards, like a reskin for the Care Package inspired by Modern Warfare (2019) and a Flashbang reskin based on Black Ops Cold War.

New Modes and Gameplay Updates

New Battle Royale Limited Time Mode: Plunder

The new Battle Royale mode, Plunder, is now available in Call of Duty: Mobile! Teams of three drop into the Isolated map and race to reach $1 million by finding loot, completing contracts, and defeating opponents.

When operators are eliminated, they immediately return to the game, ensuring continuous action as money quickly gets transferred between players. The players with the most earnings are visible on the map, which creates busy areas and keeps the pressure on as teams compete to reach the cash target.

When a team reaches $1 million, a bonus round starts, increasing their earnings by 1.5 times for three minutes. After that, the team with the highest total winnings is declared the winner.

Multiplayer Updates

New Map Variant: Shipment

Shipment is getting a Lunar New Year update! From now until February 25th, the map will be decorated with festive red and gold colors, falling snow, and traditional items like firecrackers and Spring Festival banners, giving it a special seasonal look.

Returning Mode: 1v1 Duel

1v1 Duel is back with its popular best-of-three matches! Players compete to be the first to seven eliminations in each round. The player who loses a round gets to pick the weapon type for the next one, giving them a strategic advantage. You’ll earn trophies for every match, and the more you play, the more rewards you’ll unlock.

New In-Match Event: The Train

Serpent Island is facing a new challenge: enemy forces are trying to take control of a train near a missile site. Players need to work as a team to clear specific areas, activate the missile launch system, and stop the train. Successfully destroying the train will signal all players in the game, creating a dangerous but lucrative zone filled with valuable rewards.

New Contract Event: Five Gods of Wealth

To celebrate Lunar New Year, a new challenge has arrived on Serpent Island. Players can activate a special contract called ‘Five Gods of Wealth’ and then find items at specific locations on the map. Once collected, these items can be exchanged with the Five Gods for a big cash prize.

New Boss: Velikan (Building 21)

A challenging new boss, Velikan, has arrived in Building 21. He’s heavily guarded by armored soldiers and carries a powerful War Machine grenade launcher, patrolling the area near the elevator after an announcement. Teams that defeat Velikan will earn valuable rewards, including a special, high-quality version of his War Machine grenade launcher.

Mythic Constellation: Weapon Trials

In DMZ, you can now test out Mythic Weapons before you buy them. Just find and extract new Mythic Weapon Parts hidden on Serpent Island and in Building 21. If you successfully extract these parts, you can trade them for a three-day trial of certain Mythic Weapon Blueprints, letting you try the weapons out before spending resources to unlock them.
