Isla Fisher seemed happy and cheerful while celebrating her 50th birthday in London with a small group of friends, including Michelle Dockery from Downton Abbey.
I was so happy to see Isla Fisher looking radiant! After her split from Sacha Baron Cohen earlier this year, after 14 years together, it was lovely to see her sharing a warm hug with Michelle – she just seemed genuinely joyful.
Isla dressed for the event in a black blazer over a dark top, and wore her red hair down.
Helen Fielding, the author of Bridget Jones, was one of the people who gave the Hollywood star a two-layer red velvet cake.
The cake was decorated with white frosting that said ‘Happy Beloved Isla Day’. It was topped with candles, sparklers, little palm trees, and toy animals – including a figurine of her dog Maisy, horses, and a kangaroo to represent her Australian heritage.
Sacha shared a heartfelt birthday message for his ex-wife, describing her as incredibly funny, talented, and a wonderful mother.

Sacha wished their friend a happy birthday, calling them the funniest, most joyful, and most talented person they knew, as well as a wonderful mother. They expressed hope that the next ten years would be even happier.
The former couple are proud parents to three children.

Her name is Hannah Palmer, and she’s 27 – quite a bit younger than him. It seems he’s definitely embracing the next chapter of his life!
In November, the actor was photographed with 26-year-old social media personality Kelsey Calemine, who is 28 years younger than him.
Isla recently told NewBeauty that going through a divorce has been incredibly difficult. She explained that there’s a unique understanding among those who have experienced divorce – a shared grief that others can’t fully grasp.
Isla brightened up, saying, ‘Divorce can actually be a chance to reinvent yourself, which is really exciting! It’s a time to think about what’s important to you, try new things, and figure out who you want to be.’
She explained that she’s enjoying having the headspace and time to focus on herself.
She explained it’s similar to rediscovering hobbies you enjoyed as a child, things you had to give up while focusing on raising a family.
This refers to the relationships you maintained even though they weren’t your primary focus while you were married.
It’s wonderful to see long-standing, positive relationships being valued and renewed. I find that incredibly encouraging.
Isla also shared that despite everything, she’s found some good things, such as discovering more about herself and learning to be kinder to herself.
‘I can just give myself grace whenever I like. That’s all I’m trying to do.’
Last year, Isla admitted she is not looking to date again anytime soon in the wake of her divorce.
She told The Sunday Times that dealing with that wasn’t something she was prepared for right now. She explained that her own parents’ separation when she was nine had shaped her, and she now hopes to achieve a similarly amicable co-parenting situation.
