Maya Jama pines for boyfriend Ruben Dias as she wears one of his football shirts in South Africa and says the only reason she is still living in England is ‘because my man is there’

Maya Jama misses her boyfriend, Ruben Dias, and has revealed she’s staying in the UK solely because of him while she works on the show Love Island: All Stars.

Okay, so I’ve been tracking Maya Jama constantly, and I just found out she’s been flying back and forth to South Africa! Apparently, it’s for the new season of Love Island – she’s hosting it, you guys! It’s insane how much she’s travelling, but honestly, it just makes me admire her even more. I’m living for all the behind-the-scenes glimpses I can get!

Maya recently shared with her fans that she’s currently living in the UK solely because of her relationship with her boyfriend, Ruben, who is 28 years old.

She and the Manchester City footballer have been together since 2024, and they publicly confirmed their relationship in April of last year.

Maya shared on Instagram that she feels like a better person when she’s traveling outside of England, compared to when she’s at home.

I believe everyone enjoys a walk, and I personally love bike rides. However, I felt uneasy riding a bike in England and didn’t like walking around alone for extended periods.

‘All the signs are leading to she needs to live in a warm country.’

She added: ‘If you think about it, technically my jobs are all abroad anyway.’

Maya explained in a video that while she doesn’t plan on leaving immediately, she’s currently in England solely to be with her boyfriend.

The actress is clearly missing her boyfriend, as she later posted a photo of herself wearing a Manchester City jersey with his number, 3.

Last month it was revealed Maya and Ruben’s lavish new Cheshire mansion was burgled.

Cheshire Police told the Daily Mail that items were stolen, and they are currently investigating the robbery.

Reports indicate that burglars stole thousands of pounds worth of goods, including designer clothing, jewelry, and electronics.

The couple had just moved into the house they won through the Omaze prize draw, and it reportedly costs £20,000 a month to rent.

Ruben came home to find his house ransacked and valuables stolen, and immediately reported it.

Maya was filming for Love Island in South Africa at the time. 

Someone close to the couple shared that they are heartbroken by the incident. This house is the first home they’ve shared together and holds a lot of meaning for them. Luckily, they weren’t there when it happened, but they’re deeply disturbed that someone violated their privacy.

Maya was thrilled to move into her first home with Ruben and excitedly shared photos and videos on social media.

They used to have a long-distance relationship, with her traveling between London and his city apartment. That’s why owning this home is so special to them.

Okay, so I’ve been following everything so closely, and apparently the police – Cheshire Police, specifically – confirmed something happened at her house! They told the Daily Mail that they got a call about a break-in at her place on Woodbrook Road in Alderley Edge. It was just after 11:10 PM on January 28th. I’m just… so worried! I need to know she’s okay, and this news is just awful!

Police responded to a report of a break-in where several items were stolen. They are currently investigating and ask anyone with information to contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via their website.

Maya recently shared with her fans that she lost about a stone in weight after a severe case of the flu in early January.

She shared that she recently lost about a stone after being ill, and is now focusing on gaining weight again, posting about it while driving in her workout clothes.

She displayed her fit physique in a black top with straps and shorts, paired with comfortable sneakers.
