Spider-Man 4: Tramell Tillman’s MCU Mystery Character Is Revealed

Tramell Tillman’s mystery character in Spider-Man 4 has been revealed.

This summer, audiences in the United States will be able to see the next Spider-Man movie, currently titled Spider-Man 4 or Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, and the film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, known for his work on Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

Zach Cherry, famous for his role as Seth Michick in the Apple TV+ hit series Severance, joined the cast of Brand New Day last August. While his character details have remained a secret, many fans believe he’ll play a villain connected to the Department of Damage Control (DODC).

Who is Tramell Tillman playing in Spider-Man 4?

According to Nexus Point News, a source known for accurate reporting on major announcements, actor Tillman has been cast as the X-Men villain William Metzger in the upcoming Spider-Man 4 movie.

According to reports, Tim Miller will head up the Damage Control organization within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, playing a character who is hostile towards mutants. Sources at Nexus Point News say that actor Joseph Sikora has signed a contract for multiple films, which could include the upcoming X-Men movies from Marvel Studios.

This fits with previous rumors about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the X-Men. While it wasn’t clear who actor Timothy Tillman was playing until now, many believed the Department of Damage Control (DODC) would become more of a threat in Marvel films and TV shows – as seen recently in ‘Wonder Man’ – eventually evolving into an organization actively opposing mutants, and potentially involved in the creation of the Sentinels.

William Metzger, created by Joe Casey and Steve Rude, wasn’t a major character in Marvel Comics. He only appeared in the six-issue X-Men: Children of the Atom miniseries from 1999, where he led a group opposing mutants. However, Magneto killed him before the story ended.

Spider-Man 4 arrives on July 31, 2026.
