At the start of his performance during the NFL championship game, the Puerto Rican rapper captivated the audience and was surrounded by numerous famous celebrities while performing a heartfelt medley of his most popular songs.
Okay, so I was scanning the stage, right? And I swear, I spotted Cardi B! It was amazing! She wasn’t actually performing, but she was there! I knew all about her Dominican and Trinidadian heritage, so it was extra cool to see her. I was seriously freaking out – she’s incredible, and I couldn’t believe I saw her with my own eyes!
Following his performance, a lot of fans expressed confusion online about why he chose to have Lady Gaga perform “Die with a Smile” instead of bringing out Cardi B, with whom he’d previously collaborated.

During the halftime show, a lot of famous faces and friends were spotted enjoying the performance from the stage. Stars like Pedro Pascal, Karol G, and Cardi B were on the pink stage, enthusiastically cheering him on.
Lots of fans pointed out that many in the audience were Spanish-speaking musicians, and wondered why he chose Lady Gaga as his duet partner instead of inviting one of them to perform with him.
Someone on X, previously known as Twitter, posted: ‘I’m shocked Cardi B agreed to do it, but Bad Bunny didn’t ask her to perform.’
A fan expressed disappointment that Bad Bunny didn’t perform his popular 2018 song ‘I Like It,’ which originally featured Cardi B and J Balvin.
Someone on social media was upset that Bad Bunny’s surprise guest wasn’t another artist who sings in Spanish.
People pointed out that Cardi B was performing on stage, but the artists didn’t play their previous song together.
Someone on Twitter mentioned hearing “Gasolina” played during the show and seeing Cardi B on stage, but they didn’t actually see either Daddy Yankee or Cardi B singing into a microphone.
A tweet called out Bad Bunny for having Lady Gaga perform a song that he didn’t participate in and that was noticeably out of sync.
‘It’s not even funny,’ they added.
One X user questioned why the artist didn’t collaborate with Cardi B, pointing out they’ve already made a song together and her partner was playing the game. They also described Lady Gaga’s appearance as unexpected.
Many fans also loved Bad Bunny’s choice to have Lady Gaga perform. One fan playfully referred to her as ‘my Latina sister Lady Guadalupe Hernandez Gagita.’
During Bad Bunny’s much-awaited Super Bowl halftime performance, he surprised the audience by bringing out Lady Gaga.
The Abracadabra singer, 39, performed her smash hit Die With A Smile with a salsa twist.
Oh my gosh, you guys, it was unreal! Everyone just melted away, and there she was! Standing right in front of the band, looking like an absolute angel in this gorgeous baby blue dress. And the detail! She had a red hibiscus pinned on – it was a nod to Bad Bunny’s Puerto Rico, and it was just… everything. I almost lost it, honestly!
Lady Gaga famously performed at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2017. More recently, a video of her interacting with Bad Bunny at the Grammys went viral and made headlines.
Following her performance of the song’s chorus, she danced with the rapper while he finished his energetic and much-awaited set during the NFL championship game.

After leaving the sugarcane fields, he paused to sing near the local vendors: some selling fruit, a group of men enjoying a game, a woman getting her nails done, and a shave ice stall.
