Lyle and Nickerson announced on Instagram that the show Yellowjackets will end after its fourth season, bringing the story to a close after three successful seasons. They said they made the decision after careful consideration.
We always expected the story would eventually reach a natural conclusion, and we feel it’s our duty to respect that. Sharing this powerful, unpredictable, and ultimately human story has been incredibly rewarding.
Hinting that the last season would be fantastic, the creators also expressed gratitude to the fans. They said, “We couldn’t have done it without you – the fans, our ‘Hive,’ who have been with us through every twist, turn, and memorable moment!”
Okay, awesome news for my fellow UK gamers and TV fans! The first two seasons of Yellowjackets are hitting ITVX on February 15th. Basically, if you haven’t seen it yet, that’s where you’ll be able to watch it for free – it’s going to be the only place to stream it on free-to-air channels here in the UK.
