The BAFTAs are almost here, and you can now enjoy one of the leading contenders from the comfort of your home. Hamnet has received 11 nominations and, as a British film, is a strong contender for Best Film and other awards.
You can still see the critically acclaimed film Hamnet in theaters, but it’s now also available to buy or rent online. It’s currently available on platforms like Prime Video and AppleTV.
As a huge fan, I was so excited to hear that the digital release on AppleTV comes with some really cool extras! The best part? You get a director’s commentary from Chloé Zhao herself – it’s a must-have for any serious fan like me!

In the US, you can currently purchase or rent the movie Hamnet on platforms like Prime Video and AppleTV. It will also be available to stream on Peacock soon.
If you’re in the UK and want to see Hamnet before the BAFTA and Oscar ceremonies, your only option is to buy or rent it. It won’t be available on Sky Cinema until later in the year, probably around August.
You can now pre-order the movie Hamnet on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K in the UK, though Universal Pictures hasn’t announced when it will be available to buy yet.

Before its release in UK cinemas last month, Hamnet received high praise. Discussing Film called it a beautifully made film, and The Mary Sue described it as a powerfully realistic and moving portrayal of art, love, and loss.
The drama is also receiving excellent reviews, with an 87% rating based on 319 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.
The film has already received the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture in the Drama category, and Jessie Buckley won Best Actress at the same event. She’s also been nominated for a BAFTA and an Oscar, and is currently the frontrunner to win at both award shows.
You can now see the film Hamnet in theaters, or watch it at home by buying or renting it from platforms like Prime Video and AppleTV.
I’m so excited! The latest issue of Living Legends, a beautiful, full-colour magazine all about Taylor Swift, just came out! It’s 100 pages long and you can grab a copy at any newsagent or order it online for only £8.99. Definitely picking one up!
