Jurassic World Finds New Streaming Home as Part of Surprise Netflix Deal

All of the Jurassic Park movies are coming to Netflix in the U.S. soon, thanks to a new agreement.

According to What’s on Netflix, all four Jurassic World movies will be streaming on Netflix in the U.S. starting March 2nd, with the latest film added on February 28th.

I’m so excited! The complete Jurassic World trilogy – it all started with the first movie back in 2015 – is coming to streaming! Jurassic World, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and Jurassic World: Dominion will all be available starting March 1st and 2nd. I can’t wait to watch them all again!

The Jurassic World movies are coming to Netflix thanks to a new agreement between Universal and the streaming service. Universal has given Netflix the exclusive rights to stream the films first. This deal began in January 2026, earlier than planned, shifting the movies from Prime Video to Netflix.

Universal movies will still be shown in theaters first. After their theatrical run, they’ll become available to rent or buy digitally, and then stream on Peacock for four months. Following that, they’ll be available on Netflix for ten months before returning to Peacock.

The Jurassic Park series began in 1993 with the first film, directed by Steven Spielberg. He also directed the sequel, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, which came out in 1997. The original trilogy concluded in 2001 with Jurassic Park III, directed by Joe Johnston.

Fourteen years after the original films, the Jurassic World series revived the franchise. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard starred, and the 2022 film brought back original cast members Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum. All three Jurassic World movies were major box office hits.

Following Jurassic World Dominion, the dinosaur series received another fresh start, this time helmed by Godzilla director Gareth Edwards. The film boasts a star-studded cast, including Scarlett Johansson, along with Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and Ed Skrein.

Critics weren’t overly enthusiastic about the movie, giving it a 50% rating, but general audiences liked it much more, with a 70% approval score. While it didn’t quite reach $1 billion in earnings like the previous three films, Jurassic World: Rebirth was still a financial success, bringing in $869.1 million on a budget of around $180 to $225 million.

Jurassic World Is Expected to Continue

As a fan, I’m really excited that all four movies are coming to Netflix! It’s great because the newest one did well online and on Peacock, and now even more people will be able to discover and get into this awesome dinosaur series. I think this is a huge step for the franchise’s future.

This is a positive sign for the potential continuation of the series. Reports suggest Universal is already considering future installments. Although not officially confirmed yet, the series’ recent popularity on Netflix could reignite fan interest and lead to a sequel being approved.

Jurassic World: Rebirth heads to Netflix on Feb. 18.
