Phoebe Waller-Bridge, 40, and her fiancé Martin McDonagh, 55, look happier than ever as they enjoy a night out in Soho

Phoebe Waller-Bridge and her fiancé, Martin McDonagh, were seen looking very happy together at Kettner’s restaurant in London’s Soho earlier this week.

The 40-year-old actress has been with 55-year-old Oscar winner Martin since 2017, and people began speculating about a possible wedding last year.

At her brother’s wedding in September, people noticed Phoebe wearing a large diamond ring on the ring finger of her left hand, suggesting she was engaged.

The actress showed off the sparkler as she left the fancy restaurant locked arm in arm with Martin.

For their rare date night, Phoebe looked effortlessly chic in a loose-fitting black trouser suit.

She wore her two-piece outfit with a blue silk shirt and black tie, completing the look with tall black heels to emphasize her height.

Phoebe toted around her belongings in a simple black leather clutch.

Martin then appeared wearing a navy suit with a black shirt and black dress shoes.

The pair appeared in happy spirits as they were seen chatting away in the back of a car.

Phoebe and Martin are a well-known and successful couple in the film industry, often seen supporting each other at premieres and events.

The actress consistently supported her partner, celebrating his achievements like the 2023 Oscars, where his movie, The Banshees of Inisherin, received nine nominations.

You know, I’ve always found that being with someone truly brilliant pushes me to be my best. It’s incredibly inspiring and really elevates everything I do. It’s like they naturally raise the bar, and I find myself striving to reach new heights, both personally and professionally. It’s a wonderful feeling!

Phoebe has had a very successful decade with her career, finances, as well as in her love life.

Records from Companies House show that PMWB Limited, her company, earned almost £16 million in the year ending last November.

She’s received Golden Globe, Emmy, and BAFTA awards for the popular show Fleabag, and has also been nominated for her writing and producing work on Killing Eve.

Phoebe first appeared on stage in 2009 at the Soho Theatre. She later created and performed ‘Fleabag’ as a one-person show at the Edinburgh Festival in 2014, initially introducing the character to audiences.

Phoebe first became well-known in 2015 when she played the role of Abby Thompson, a junior barrister, in the second season of the ITV drama Broadchurch.

But she catapulted to fame in 2016 when the first series of Fleabag aired on BBC Two.
