Sarah Michelle Gellar, 48, looks incredible at Star Search premiere after admitting she’s contemplated a facelift

Sarah Michelle Gellar turned heads at the premiere of the new Star Search on Netflix, despite reports that the show experienced some technical difficulties with sound and production.

Looking much younger than her 48 years, the Emmy-winning actress posed for photos at CBS Studio Center in Studio City, California. Hairstylist Sara Seward and makeup artist Kindra Mann helped her get ready.

Gellar turned heads in a shimmering silver mini-dress by Rin by Chung Thanh Phong, paired with matching heels from Aleví Milano. Stylist Tara Swennen put the look together.

The actress, famous for her roles in horror films and originally from Long Island, recently expressed frustration with being constantly reminded of how she looked when she was younger. However, she joked that she’d prefer to avoid plastic surgery if possible.

Gellar recently told People magazine she’s noticed more young women getting cosmetic surgery, and it’s made her wonder if she should consider it herself.

I’ve definitely had Botox, but it’s not frozen my face – I can still make expressions. For me, it’s about aging naturally and happily. I enjoy smiling and laughing, and I’m proud of the lines I’ve earned over the years.

The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star explained that while she might have work done later in life, she needs to be able to express emotions with her face for her acting career right now.

For the five-week live event, hosted by Anthony Anderson with Chrissy Teigen and Jelly Roll, Gellar will be a judge evaluating performers in various categories.

Star Search was well-known for giving early career boosts to now-famous performers like Beyoncé, Adam Sandler, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Dave Chappelle, and Christina Aguilera.

Sarah Michelle Gellar posted a sweet video to Instagram of her hugging her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr., after a performance. She admitted to being very nervous beforehand.

The actors from ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ brought their children, 16-year-old Charlotte and 13-year-old Rocky, with them, and the kids weren’t shy about sharing their thoughts on her performance as a judge.

‘Well my daughter was a little upset with some of my decisions,’ Gellar told ET.

My husband and son both complimented my work, which meant a lot, especially coming from my son—he doesn’t usually offer praise like that.

For the second night of Star Search on Wednesday, the actress known for her role in Dexter: Original Sin wore a sparkling black pantsuit with matching peep-toe heels.

This time, Gellar wore long earrings and had a cute updo to judge the show.

The actress, nominated for a Golden Globe, will star as Ursula Danforth in the upcoming movie Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, a horror-comedy directed by Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin. The film will be released in the US on March 27th and in the UK on April 10th.

The new Searchlight Pictures film also features Samara Weaving, Kathryn Newton, Elijah Wood, and David Cronenberg in its cast.
