Chris Noth stated he felt let down by his Sex and the City colleague, Sarah Jessica Parker, following accusations of sexual assault made against him by several women in late 2021.
The 71-year-old actor made it clear he and Parker, 60, aren’t friends. He shared this in a preview of his upcoming interview on the ‘Really Famous with Kara Mayer Robinson’ podcast, which comes out Monday.
Let me tell you, the tension with Sarah Jessica Parker really started after she, along with Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, publicly addressed the allegations made against me. It was a difficult time, and that statement definitely marked a turning point in our relationship.
Parker, Nixon, and Davis expressed their deep sadness and publicly voiced their support for the women who had bravely shared their difficult experiences.
Noth expressed his disappointment that his former friends and colleagues appeared to be distancing themselves from him.
He said the statement felt like a public relations move, and he found it sad, disappointing, and surprising.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Parker’s representatives for comment but has yet to hear back.

“It just didn’t work out, which was disappointing,” said Chris Noth, known for his role as Mr. Big in Sex and the City and the show’s continuation, And Just Like That.
Reflecting on what happened, Noth says he gained valuable insights and discovered who his true friends are.
Difficult times reveal true character. You discover who genuinely supports you and who doesn’t, and that clarity is valuable.
It’s good to be aware of that. If the situation had been different, I wouldn’t have acted that way.
It really stung when my SATC family didn’t support me, and honestly, it impacted everything about how I felt and moved forward. It was deeply hurtful, and I’m still processing it.
In 2021, Noth released a statement refuting claims made against him. He stated that accusations from people he had met many years ago were completely untrue.
These experiences could have happened recently or decades in the past. I always respected boundaries – ‘no’ meant ‘no,’ and I never crossed that line. All interactions were agreed upon by everyone involved.
Following the accusations, Noth lost his job on the CBS show The Equalizer. Additionally, scenes he had filmed for the finale of And Just Like That… were cut from the episode.
