Kaley Cuoco responded to Ashley Tisdale‘s recent controversy involving a problematic moms group, sharing her disapproval of the situation.
Kaley Cuoco, known for her role in The Flight Attendant and mom to two-year-old Matilda with her fiancé Tom Pelfrey, recently shared her opinions while on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live.
Kaley Cuoco, age 40, was discussing her new thriller series, Vanished, but she didn’t hesitate to share her thoughts when the conversation shifted to Ashley Tisdale.
When a fan asked the actress what she thought about everything happening, Kaley Cuoco simply said, ‘If you’re not happy being part of a team, just go your own way.’
Cohen seconded that by saying: ‘Right?’
Honestly, she doesn’t even need to explain herself! Like, she’s amazing enough as is, being on The Big Bang Theory and all, but then you find out she’s also a minister? A real, ordained one?! And she actually married her sister on New Year’s Eve?! I just… I can’t even. It’s just so her, being wonderfully multi-talented and sweet. I’m completely obsessed, obviously.
Cohen stoked the fires by adding: ‘Like, write an essay about it.’
‘You don’t have to do that,’ countered Cuoco. ‘Just leave… find a new group.’
Erika Jayne, from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, was also on the show and, used to dealing with housewife drama, simply said, ‘Find someone else.’
Cuoco agreed with a simple, ‘Yeah.’
Last month, 40-year-old Tiffani Thiessen stirred up a lot of attention when she published an article in The Cut about a falling out she had with some former friends who are also Hollywood moms.
Ashley Tisdale, who has two daughters – four-year-old Jupiter and one-year-old Emerson – with her husband Christopher French, seemed to be referencing a group of moms, leading many fans to believe she was talking about Hilary Duff’s close friends, Meghan Trainor and Mandy Moore. However, a spokesperson for Tisdale has stated that these women were not the intended subject.
Tisdale clarified that she’s never thought of the mothers involved as malicious people, with the possible exception of one, in an essay for The Cut.
‘But I do think our group dynamic stopped being healthy and positive — for me anyway.’
Fans quickly pointed out that the article was published soon after she stopped following Duff and Moore on Instagram.
Okay, so after Ashley Tisdale wrote that article everyone was talking about, Kaley Cuoco’s mom friends – her whole squad, really – jumped online to show their support! They were all over social media with hashtags about how they ‘lift each other up’ and ‘women supporting women.’ It was SO amazing to see, honestly. It just proves what I’ve always known – these women have built this incredible support system, this ‘village,’ and they’ve got each other’s backs. I’m seriously obsessed with how they all rally together!
Actress Ashley Jones shared photos with her mom friends, including Kaley Cuoco, and commented on how important mom groups are right now. She expressed gratitude for her ‘village’ of supportive moms, saying they help her avoid feeling lost or lonely, and encouraged others to tag their own mom support groups.
I’m feeling a little sad missing everyone, but so thankful for the support we shared, not just now, but always. #lifteachother #womensupportingwomen (Not everyone is in the photo, but everyone pictured is loved!) #momgroup
