Someone who went to Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding in Florida in 2022 has spoken up to support Victoria Beckham after her son made some serious accusations against her.
This week, 26-year-old Brooklyn Beckham claimed his mother, Victoria, 51, disrupted his first dance with his wife, Nicola, 31, by dancing in a way he considered inappropriate.
In a six-page statement, Brooklyn described a shocking moment at his wedding. He explained that instead of sharing a first dance with his wife as planned, his mother unexpectedly joined him on stage. He claims she danced inappropriately with him in front of their 500 guests.
I’ve honestly never been so embarrassed and upset. We hoped renewing our vows would give us happy new memories of our wedding day, but instead, it caused us a lot of stress and humiliation.
A wedding guest has come forward to say that Victoria’s dancing wasn’t inappropriate at all. They believe Nicola was upset because her mother-in-law seemed to be the center of attention, especially after Marc Anthony publicly complimented Victoria during his performance.
Honestly, she just seemed a little stiff, not at all like she was trying to be suggestive. It felt awkward, though, because she kept drawing attention to herself when really, the focus should have been entirely on the bride. That’s what I told The Mirror when they asked me about it.
‘Our takeaway was that there was no grinding. But it was a bit of a stiff, awkward performance.
The event definitely revolved around the Beckhams. Marc Anthony kept mentioning Victoria between songs, and then she was brought up to dance, which felt over the top. It seemed like Nicola Peltz wasn’t pleased with all the attention.
Daily Mail has contacted Victoria, Brooklyn and Nicola’s representatives for comment.
DJ Fat Tony, who played a set late into the night, also joined the joking about the groom’s story. The groom had claimed his mother interrupted his first dance with his wife and danced inappropriately on him in front of all the guests.
Tony posted a video online showing Lucy Punch, who plays Amanda in the BBC comedy Motherland, enthusiastically dancing to the song “Drank & Drugs” by Lil’ Kleine and Ronnie Flex while with her friends from the school’s parent group.
A video clip, labeled ‘POV: Victoria Beckham during Brooklyn’s first dance,’ was shared with the caption: ‘This is real footage – I was actually there!’ by Fat Tony.
Tony’s partner Stavros Agapiou on Tuesday backed up Brooklyn’s ‘inappropriate’ dancing comment.
He confirmed what she did in a now-deleted Instagram comment, saying, ‘I was there and she did, he’s telling the truth.’ Stavros later posted, ‘Good on him for finally speaking out!’
According to Page Six, the actress became very distressed and left the reception in tears after Victoria Beckham embraced Brooklyn and affectionately nuzzled his neck.
According to a source, Victoria was dancing very closely and inappropriately with him, and she essentially stole a moment that belonged to Nicola. They claim this is absolutely true.
‘Nicola ran out crying. The Beckhams’ side of the room was cheering and the Peltz side was quiet.
Nicola’s friends urged her to come back downstairs. Her face was puffy and swollen, and she was visibly upset for the rest of the night, which was really difficult to watch.
According to one report, Brooklyn struggled with the wording of his six-page statement all weekend, after reportedly telling his wife he was ready to end things.
According to a source, he felt he had to speak out to stop the mistreatment of his wife, believing it would continue indefinitely otherwise. He was tired of being deceived and had made up his mind – and others seemed to agree with his decision. He believed his parents were responsible for the situation and was determined to put an end to it.
Fans are clamouring to see the footage at the centre of the Beckham family rift.
However, people familiar with the situation say the video probably won’t be released, as Brooklyn is believed to be the only one who has it.
The couple famously banned phones from their large, luxurious wedding in Florida, where around 500 people were in attendance.
When everyone arrived, they had to give up their phones, which were then locked in special pouches. They were given simple flip phones instead to take pictures.
Because of this, Brooklyn and Nicola are the only ones with the official video from their wedding. Any supposed ’embarrassing’ dance footage, therefore, only exists on videos they control.
Someone with knowledge of the situation says Brooklyn Beckham has complete control over a video showing Victoria dancing suggestively on him at his wedding to Nicola Peltz.
It’s easy to see why Brooklyn wouldn’t want the video released. He’s been quiet until now, but he’s finally sharing his story, including how hurt he felt by his mother’s actions on his wedding day and his overall experiences with his family.
Many people are now questioning how far Victoria went, and the video could confirm everything Brooklyn has claimed is true.
Only Brooklyn has the legal authority to share that footage. Even though he’s under immense pressure, he might not want to revisit those moments, particularly with so much public attention.
