The famous director recently discussed his films on the podcast The Church of Tarantino. He said he loves Once Upon a Time in Hollywood the most, but considers Inglourious Basterds to be his best work.
I love Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and I think Inglourious Basterds is my best work,” Tarantino explained. “However, I believe Kill Bill truly represents the essence of a Quentin Tarantino film – something no other director could have created.
He explained that every detail came directly from his deepest self – his imagination, instincts, affections, and intense passions – resulting in something raw and visceral, almost as if torn from within.
I feel like Kill Bill is the film I was meant to create, and I consider Inglourious Basterds to be my best work, but Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is the one I enjoy the most.
