Gemma recently told the Daily Mail she’s been taking very small doses of Mounjaro, a weight loss drug, because she was worried about side effects. She experienced severe pain in August, which she described as a ‘gallbladder attack,’ and collapsed as a result.

Gemma has returned to using a weight loss medication after a pause, and has already seen positive results, dropping from a size 26 to a size 20 and losing 3.5 stone.

I had to pause my medication for a little while back in August when I experienced a gallbladder issue. Thankfully, my doctors have confirmed it wasn’t related to Mounjaro, which is a huge relief! I’m always prioritizing my overall health, and it’s good to know we’ve ruled that out.

I’ve been taking it easy and watching my diet. I’m thinking about trying microdosing because it seems like you avoid the stronger side effects that come with larger doses.

Gemma gradually increased her medication, starting with a 2.5mg dose and eventually reaching a maximum of 15mg per week.
