I was completely floored watching Beast Games! It finally revealed the Top 10, but getting there was so tough. In Episode 7, Catey, who was a strong contender, was eliminated by Nick and Monika after they had to make the incredibly difficult decision of cutting three players. It was heartbreaking to watch, especially because Catey thought Jack had betrayed her behind the scenes, and that definitely contributed to her elimination. Apparently, there was even more to the story that we didn’t get to see! It’s just wild how much strategy and emotion goes into this show.
In a recent appearance on the official podcast of fellow Beast Games competitor Auguste Auger, Catey revealed that Jack – the last member of Team Smart to reach the Top 10 – started a rumor claiming she wanted Nick eliminated. This rumor, she explained, was a major factor in her own eventual elimination from the competition.

Although Catey and Auguste didn’t mention Jack by name on the podcast, Catey did reveal that he was the contestant responsible for her being eliminated from Season 2 of Beast Games during the preview at the beginning of the show.
Around 27 minutes into the podcast, Catey revealed that Jack had betrayed her, causing her to be eliminated. She explained that Jack deliberately made Nick believe she was a strong competitor who was targeting him for removal.
Okay, so this is crazy, but it actually happened to me. Someone in our group – we were five people close at the time – straight-up lied and told everyone I was trying to go after Nick. Can you imagine? Someone you trust saying something like that about you? It’s even weirder because I was the only girl left in the group. My first thought was, ‘Okay, I’m going to trust my friends,’ especially since it was someone within our circle. Apparently, whoever did this saw me as a threat – they thought I was higher up in the running for Nick’s attention. Honestly, it didn’t even matter, because everyone agreed it wasn’t going to be a situation where it had to be me or them.

It became obvious throughout the podcast that they were talking about him, thanks to several clues. For example, they mentioned someone switching the cards, and that this person had been part of a tight-knit group they’d played with before. This group included Catey, Nick, Tyler, Auguste, and Jack, who had teamed up during both the Obstacle challenge and the Captain Bribe game.
Catey acknowledged it was upsetting that Jack might have felt insecure because she seemed closer to their friends, but she ultimately understood why he felt that way.
It’s frustrating that this person felt insecure about my relationship with you all and immediately reacted by spreading rumors. It’s understandable why you believed them, considering your loyalty. It all makes sense in retrospect.

Why Jack Is the Most Dangerous Player In the Beast Games Season 2

Jack’s hidden involvement in her removal proves he’s a formidable player on Beast Games Season 2. He’s willing to play underhandedly and use alliances to get ahead.
Jack has a history of playing unfairly. During a game of Cube, he secretly swapped the deck of cards to change the outcome, causing Sue to lose and securing his own place among the Top 13.
After Catey was eliminated, Jack joined the Top 10 players, and that’s bad news for everyone else – even his allies. Jack has shown he’s a dangerous player who can strike unexpectedly, making him a threat no one can afford to underestimate.
Jack is skilled at subtly influencing situations and using strategy to achieve unlikely victories, which could ultimately lead him to win the $5 or $10 million grand prize.
