Expect plenty of drama, including scandals, backstabbing, and juicy gossip, when the first season of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island premieres.

The first season trailer for The Real Housewives of Rhode Island suggests the show will be full of drama.

The show features a diverse cast including Alicia Carmody, former news anchor Rosie DiMarie, reality TV personality Ashley Iaconetti, cannabis entrepreneur Liz McGraw, Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, beauty influencer Kelsey Swanson, Jo-Ellen Tiberi, and Dolores Catania from The Real Housewives of New Jersey, appearing as a friend.

From the start, rumors about relationship trouble have surrounded the first season of the show. There’s been talk that Rulla’s husband, Brian Pontarelli, was unfaithful, but she insists these rumors aren’t true.

‘There are echoes of Rulla’s husband having an affair,’ one says. 

‘I want you to know that it’s happening currently,’ Rulla is warned by one of her friends. 

Rulla’s husband heard someone said she was spreading rumors.

One of the husbands stated that he gets very upset when anyone calls his wife at her workplace.

But Rulla is insistent the affair rumors are not accurate. 

Rulla stated that someone has been repeatedly attempting to falsely connect her husband to certain activities, despite him not being involved. She expressed frustration with these efforts.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Catania, jumps right into the drama. 

‘But he is, ma,’ Catania insisted. ‘But he is.’ 

Iaconetti and her husband, Jared Haibon, are also facing some money troubles with their coffee shop, Audrey’s.

‘I know that you’re insecure about how Audrey’s doesn’t bring enough in,’ she told him over lunch. 

Iaconetti gained a reputation for being emotional on The Bachelor, and she’s continuing that pattern on this show.

‘Always crying!’ she says as she is comforted by her castmates on a boat. 

Each woman on Housewife is facing personal challenges – one is considering starting a family, another is working through difficult memories from her childhood, and a third is hoping to find lasting love.

One of the stars also has quite the busy schedule. 

‘The two people in my life are the most wonderful people ever,’ she says. 

‘Now you’re saying that you do have two boyfriends!? What!?’ DiMare replies.
