Phoebe Burgess is back on Instagram after a several-month break, and she’s sharing photos from a revitalizing trip to Queensland.
The 36-year-old, known for her previous relationship with a famous athlete, posted photos and videos on Thursday showing her enjoying a vacation in Noosa with her children, Poppy, 9, and Billy, 7.
A black and white photo featured Phoebe with her children, Poppy and Billy, who she shares with her former partner, Sam Burgess, 37. She captioned the picture, ‘Refilling that cup.’
She was also seen wearing a fitted black and blue striped tank dress by the Australian brand Bassike, which costs $298.
Phoebe completed her outfit with light blue flip-flops and black sunglasses, adding a large, striped canvas bag for a pop of color.
Wearing her blonde locks up for the photo, Phoebe beamed as she looked out over Noosa’s Main Beach.
Phoebe was happy to be back on Instagram after a long break – she hadn’t shared a post since November.
Phoebe shared a post supporting an anti-bullying campaign. The campaign was a collaboration between Snapchat and the organization Project Rockit.
Phoebe told the Daily Mail that she used to think online harassment was just something people had to deal with when using social media. While she’s now better at handling negativity, she previously accepted it as a normal part of life online.
For the past ten years, I’ve worked in this field, and for a long time, I thought that accepting all the opinions and comments – both positive and negative – was just part of the job, she explained.
I kept telling myself that dealing with the difficult aspects was simply part of pursuing my passion, and that I’d earned both the good and the bad experiences along the way.
Phoebe explained that since there’s nothing stopping hurtful comments or the people who make them, she decided to create her own protection.
I deliberately distanced myself from public life. I stopped paying attention to news or articles about me, and for the past two years, I haven’t looked at a single story mentioning my name.
I hardly follow the news. I started going to fewer work gatherings to keep a low profile, and I often stayed off social media for extended periods.
Phoebe has started using social media again after her ex-partner was recently reunited with their two children.
The football player’s wife, Lucy, posted a picture of her husband reconnecting with their children, Poppy and Billy.
The athlete, originally from England, looked thrilled in a photo with all four of his children: his two kids with Phoebe, and his younger children – two-year-old Robbie and three-month-old Mack – whom he shares with Lucy.
It is believed that it was the first time Billy and Poppy had met their half-brother Mack.
Footage also showed Sam playing a fun game of rugby with Billy in a backyard.
The third photo featured Sam and his wife, Lucy, looking happy and relaxed while spending time together in Sydney.
The gallery was captioned with some precious words: ‘Family time’.
Since 2023, Sam has been mostly separated from Billy and Poppy after he moved to the UK with Lucy.
The two children live with Phoebe and her family in the Southern Highlands in NSW.
Sam and Phoebe were married for four years before splitting in 2019.
He went on to marry Lucy in 2024 in a lavish Italian wedding after two years of dating.
