Melanie Griffith was seen enjoying a rare evening out on Wednesday, looking fit in a simple black outfit.
The famous actress, 68, recently celebrated her mother Tippi Hedren’s 96th birthday with a glamorous party, but she preferred a quiet walk by herself in Los Angeles this time.
I always admire Melanie Griffith’s style, and I have to say, her recent look was so relatable! She was spotted in a comfy black henley, paired with leggings and Birkenstocks – a total departure from her usual red carpet elegance. It reminded me of how stunning she looked last August in that crisp white suit with Dakota Johnson at the film premiere – she can truly pull off anything!
But the real buzz came hours later, when she shared a fiery political Instagram clip.
She shared a video of Senator Chris Murphy criticizing President Trump and claiming he was preparing to rig the November election.
Griffith shared a video of Kamala Harris, adding the comment, ‘Here’s a glimpse of a future president – 2028!’
The controversial post followed a celebration Griffith hosted at her home in Hollywood to honor her mother’s special occasion.
In January, Tippi Hedren, famous for her roles in Alfred Hitchcock films like The Birds and Marnie, made her first public appearance in a long time as a special guest at an event hosted by Melanie.
This was the first public appearance for Hedren since news broke that she has dementia and is experiencing memory loss, including forgetting details about her acting career.
Dakota Johnson’s grandmother looked healthy and was able to walk on her own, without needing a wheelchair, walker, or cane.
While traveling among the stars, she held hands with Alexander Bauer, her 40-year-old grandson. Alexander is the son of Melanie and her second husband, Steven Bauer, who she married between her two marriages to Don Johnson.
In February 2024, representatives for Tippi Hedren announced she has dementia and is no longer able to give interviews because of her health.
They explained that she has dementia and has completely lost her memories of her working life. At 94 years old, they added that her memory loss is sadly a natural part of aging.
Shortly before Tippi Hedren’s birthday, Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas’ daughter, Stella del Carmen Banderas, got married in Spain.
Stella, age 29, married her longtime partner, Alex Gruszynski, in October at a beautiful old monastery called Retuerta Le Domaine Abbey. The abbey is located on a large wine estate in Valladolid, Spain.
Antonio and Melanie got married and had their daughter, Stella, in 1996. They later separated in 2014 and officially divorced in 2015.
Melanie has two children from previous relationships: Dakota, age 36, with Don Johnson, and Alexander, age 40, with Steven Bauer.
Despite their divorces, Melanie has remained close with both ex-husbands over the years.
