While becoming a Hollywood star is still a long shot, Michelle Keegan hinted that she’s making progress, sharing an encouraging update on Instagram on Thursday.

The actress looked incredibly glamorous – like she’d stepped off the red carpet – while promoting Estée Lauder. This appearance came right after she finished a work trip combined with vacation in Los Angeles.

Okay, so I just saw this amazing post from former Corrie star, Keegan! She looked absolutely radiant in a classic black dress – really chic and off-the-shoulder. She was showcasing a new foundation from a cosmetics brand, and honestly, it looked flawless on her skin. It’s all about that long-lasting, double-wear coverage, and she definitely proved it works!

The actress was filmed getting ready for the launch party in Los Angeles, with her hair and makeup team helping her prepare.

Keegan is hoping to build an acting career in the United States, having already become a very popular TV actress in Britain.

I’ve been a huge fan of Michelle Keegan ever since her days as Tina on Corrie, but she’s really proven her range since then! Seeing her take on leading roles in shows like Our Girl, Ten Pound Poms, and especially Brassic, which I absolutely love, has been amazing. She’s definitely gained a much wider following, and rightfully so!

In 2024, she began her work with Netflix, playing a leading role in the eight-episode series Fool Me Once. The show is based on the popular novel by Harlan Coben.

Keegan is poised to become an international star, and her collaboration with Harlan Coben could be the key. She’s expected to appear in his new thriller, Gone Before Goodbye, which he co-wrote with Academy Award winner Reese Witherspoon.

This novel, set to be released in 2025, tells the story of Maggie McCabe, a highly respected army surgeon. She becomes entangled in a dangerous conspiracy, one she unknowingly helped start and now struggles to comprehend.

Maggie is on a dangerous quest to uncover a hidden conspiracy within the highest levels of global power, and the search is taking a devastating toll on her life.

In January, after traveling to Los Angeles for work, Keegan hinted at her involvement in an upcoming project when she met Harlan Coben and Reese Witherspoon in Hollywood.

The actress played the character Maya Stern in the series Fool Me Once, with Joanna Lumley, Emmett J. Scanlan, and Richard Armitage also starring.

The show was a huge success on Netflix, immediately becoming one of the most popular titles globally.

Harlan Coben has often complimented Keegan’s talent and has said he’d love to collaborate with her on a future project.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! Apparently, Maya Stern’s ‘death’ in Fool Me Once wasn’t what it seemed – or, at least, that’s what the author wanted everyone to think! I’ve read between the lines, and it’s clear she was totally regretting killing off her character! She was desperately trying to come up with any plot twist, no matter how crazy, just to bring Maya back for another season. Seriously, she was obsessed with getting Maya Stern back on our screens, and it’s SO exciting to think about what she came up with!

Someone familiar with Keegan’s situation shared with the Daily Mail that Michelle and Harlan became close while filming ‘Fool Me Once,’ and he is very impressed with her.

‘He believes Michelle is a big part of the show’s stratospheric success.

Harlan recently confessed at the National Television Awards that he deeply regretted killing off her character and would do anything to revive her for a sequel they’ve both wanted for a long time.
