Okay, so the biggest PUBG Mobile competition in China, the Peacekeeper Elite League (PEL), is starting up for the 2026 Spring season! Basically, it’s the top-level pro league for the game here, and all the best teams are gearing up to compete. There’s a ton of prize money on the line, and I’m going to give you the lowdown on everything you need to know about the tournament.
Peacekeeper Elite League (PEL) 2026 Spring: Schedule and Format
Twenty-two teams will compete in China’s biggest PUBG Mobile (also known as Game for Peace) esports tournament. The competition will be divided into three parts: a regular season, playoffs, and a final championship. Here’s a brief look at how it will work:
Regular Season
The event begins with the regular season on February 5th, 2026. Sixteen teams will compete over two phases, playing on a rotating schedule based on the tournament map.
The players who finished 7th through 12th from the previous breakout round, plus the bottom 10 from last week’s finals, will compete in this stage. The top 10 players will advance to the weekly finals, while the next six will compete in the breakout round next week.
The weekly championship will be held over four days, starting on day two. Sixteen teams will compete, including those who qualified from the previous week’s finals and the top ten teams from the Breakout competition.
Okay, so the points we earn in this part of the season actually matter for the overall rankings! It’s awesome because the top six teams get to go straight to the finals, but unfortunately, the bottom sixteen have to fight through the playoffs just to stay in the competition. It’s going to be a tough road for them, but hopefully, they can pull through!
Playoffs
Sixteen players who earned their spots through the regular season will now compete in this stage, which begins on April 9th, 2026 and lasts for four days. The six highest-performing players will move on to the finals, while the remaining ten will be eliminated.
Finals
The championship finals will be held from April 24th to 26th. Six teams from the regular season will compete alongside the ten teams who qualified through the playoffs. Over three days, they’ll battle it out in a total of 18 matches. The team with the most points at the end will be crowned champion.
Prize Pool
Chinese esports events are known for their large prize pools, and this tournament is no different. Teams will compete for a total of ¥16,400,000 – that’s nearly $2.37 million! Here’s a breakdown of how the prize money will be distributed to the winning teams.

Most people are likely familiar with the teams competing in this event. While Chinese teams have historically been strong internationally, we’re now seeing more success from teams around the world in major leagues and tournaments.
Fans are eager to see these historically powerful teams reclaim their strength and excel in matches. This could also be a great opportunity to experiment with new strategies and see how they perform.
Unfortunately, fans outside of China can only watch these matches online. While international streaming services aren’t permitted to broadcast the events directly, fans can still tune in through Chinese social media platforms.
