Konami is consistently adding new content to eFootball 2026, and this week brings a special club pack alongside the usual Epic player packs. The new “Manchester United 25-26 Jan Club Pack” features 11 players from the Manchester United squad.
This pack offers a great way to improve your team, as each player includes booster slots. However, it doesn’t feature a manager this time because Ruben Amorim recently left the club before the pack was released.
eFootball 2026 Manchester United 25-26 Jan Pack: Manager and Player explained
This pack includes one booster that benefits all players, but you may need to create more boosters afterward. It costs 900 coins, which is a discount from the normal price.
Bryan Mbeumo
- Position: AMF
- Playing Style: Hole Player
Mbeumo appears to be a promising player, particularly when you look at his skills. He’s excellent at dribbling and keeping close control of the ball, scoring very highly in those areas. He’s also quick and accelerates well, meaning he can make impactful runs from midfield.
He has the potential to be a top-tier Special card, but the automatic build-up process is currently slowing his progress. With the right boosts in key areas like creativity, shooting, and speed, he could reach a 103 rating without sacrificing his dribbling or pace, and still maintain excellent finishing ability – the ‘Hole Player’ style would suit his skillset perfectly.
Bruno Fernandes
- Position: CMF
- Playing Style: Box-to-Box
Okay, so I’m a little puzzled by this Bruno card, honestly. He looks like a well-rounded midfielder, not the super-attacking playmaker everyone was hoping for. His passing stats are great – both short and long passes are in the 90s, which is awesome – but I’m just not sure about him as a box-to-box midfielder. It feels a little off, you know?
His stats and abilities don’t support playing a defensive position. He’s best suited as an attacking midfielder or winger, and trying to use him defensively is a waste of his potential. Focus on developing his attacking skills and remove any training points spent on defense.
Matthijs de Ligt
- Position: CB
- Playing Style: Build Up
It’s disappointing we haven’t gotten a special ‘Show Time’ card for De Ligt yet, but this card will have to do. It looks like a really solid, physically imposing center back. He has excellent defensive instincts, gets into good positions, and tackles well, and his strength makes him hard to move.
From a scouting perspective, he appears dependable. His speed is average, and to get the most out of his stats, you’ll need to prioritize positioning over pure speed. As faster cornerbacks become more prevalent, he holds up well, though he might not quite be at the cutting edge.
Casemiro
- Position: DMF
- Playing Style: Anchor Man
Casemiro embodies the classic defensive midfielder. He excels in reading the game, actively challenges opponents, and is a strong, aggressive tackler. Despite his age, he remains physically fit and surprisingly quick, still maintaining good speed ratings.
While Casemiro is a determined player, his skills with the ball aren’t a strong point. His dribbling isn’t great, and although he can pass, it’s not particularly impressive these days. With many defensive midfielders now also being skilled ball-players, Casemiro seems effective, but his style feels a bit outdated.
Matheus Cunha
- Position: AMF
- Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
Cunha excels at controlling the ball – he’s a strong dribbler with excellent close control, making him comfortable when he has possession. He’s also quick enough to be a real threat when making runs between defenders.
He seems enjoyable to play with, but doesn’t quite measure up to top-tier players who consistently deliver strong results. He’s most effective when played as a winger, using his speed and dribbling skills to get wide and then cut inside to finish.
Benjamin Šeško
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Goal Poacher
Sesko appears to be a promising striker. He has a great combination of size, speed, and strength, and consistently scores goals. He also seems to have a good understanding of the game, making smart runs to get into scoring positions. Importantly, he’s comfortable using both feet, which is a significant advantage.
He’s fairly unremarkable when it comes to general play and struggles with passing, hindering his ability to connect with teammates. However, he’s better than many options, particularly if you need a fast, strong striker who can finish chances.
Overviews for the remaining players:
- Harry Maguire (CB/Build Up): Maguire is exactly what you expect. Strong aerially, physically dominant, and reliable in duels. Pace is the obvious drawback, so he fits better in low blocks or 3 atb setups where positioning matters.
- Diogo Dalot (LMF/Cross Specialist): Dalot’s numbers are fine, but nothing stands out. Pace and crossing are his strengths, and he can deliver decent balls. Dribbling is usable, but overall, he feels like a role player rather than a difference-maker.
- Amad Diallo (RMF/Hole Player): Amad feels lively on the ball. Good pace, acceleration, and dribbling make him fun to use. End product is where he falls short, though, with finishing and physicality holding him back.
- Leny Yoro (CB/Build Up): Yoro looks promising defensively. Tall, good awareness and engagement, with a decent pace for a CB. Physicals are kind of weak for a CB, and a lack of balance could trouble him.
- Senne Lammens (GK/Offensive Goalkeeper): A usable goalkeeper but nothing special. Decent reflexes and reach, and the Offensive GK playstyle helps with sweeping. Still feels very replaceable given the number of similar GK options available.
Is the Manchester United 25-26 Jan Pack in eFootball 2026 worth purchasing
Generally, 900 coins seems like a fair price for this pack. Because it doesn’t include a manager, you won’t have to worry about spending coins on one who doesn’t suit your preferred playing style – a common concern with other packs.
Pack Rating: 2.5 out of 5
