Iconic Hollywood sisters Patricia and Rosanna Arquette reunite for rare red carpet appearance

Rosanna and Patricia Arquette, sisters and actresses, attended the premiere of Dracula on Tuesday night at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles.

Rosanna, famous for her roles in movies like Desperately Seeking Susan and Pulp Fiction, wore a floral outfit in gold and blue over a black shirt, and her red hair was worn loose.

The Emmy-nominated actress, 66, carried a black purse and wore silver boots to the screening.

Patricia, age 57, won an Oscar in 2015 for her work in the film Boyhood. She wore a burgundy dress decorated with gold details and hoop earrings.

The actress who starred as Alabama Whitman in the 1993 film True Romance wore her blonde hair parted on one side.

Rosanna is the oldest of the Arquette siblings. Her family also includes Richmond (62), Patricia (57), David (54), and Alexis, who sadly passed away in 2016 at the age of 47.

The new film Dracula, directed by Luc Besson and featuring Christoph Waltz, Caleb Landry Jones, Zoë Bleu, Guillaume de Tonquédec, and Matilda De Angelis, opens in theaters this Friday.

Over the past few years, the sisters have occasionally appeared together at events like movie premieres in Los Angeles.

Photos surfaced of them at several events: the Art of Elysium’s 25th Anniversary HEAVEN Gala in 2024, Elton John’s Oscars party in 2022, and the Women’s March in October 2021.

In 2019, the organization Visionary Women presented them with an award recognizing International Women’s Day, as part of their second annual celebration.

The organization credited the sisters for their advocacy for women over their years in Hollywood.

In a 2019 interview with Rosanna, Patricia explained that growing up, she didn’t feel comfortable expressing her needs or speaking up for herself – it just wasn’t how she was raised.

She said that working with Tony Scott, the director of True Romance, helped her gain confidence that stayed with her throughout her career.

‘He really helped support my voice, and I think people can do that for each other,’ she said.

Patricia opened up about the atmosphere women faced at the time in the entertainment industry.

She explained that it was a constant stream of subtle messages – things like being told to be good, polite, and obedient – that shaped her over time.

In a 2019 interview, Rosanna observed that women were increasingly prioritizing self-care, and this was beginning to change things.

Rosanna explained that they’re constantly focused on helping others, and she’s realizing how crucial it is to also prioritize self-care.

Patricia admitted she struggles with something, saying, ‘I’m really not good at it, and I feel like I’ve failed.’

I tend to take on too much and end up feeling drained, so it’s helpful to be reminded to slow down.

In October 2017, Rosanna was one of the first women to publicly share her experiences with Harvey Weinstein, a then-powerful Hollywood producer.

Rosanna acknowledged the devastating impact Harvey Weinstein had on many women, noting the trauma caused by his actions, and pointed out that he was later found guilty of rape in both California and New York.

Rosanna explained she’s dedicated to helping people who have experienced sexual assault, especially in light of the MeToo movement, which started with accusations against Harvey Weinstein.

Rosanna explained that her priority is ensuring the people involved receive justice, even though the situation has been incredibly difficult for her personally. She admitted it’s been a very tough time for her as well.
