Despite being poised to be the biggest movie of Summer 2026, Spider-Man: Brand New Day hasn’t released a trailer yet, which isn’t unusual. Previous Spider-Man films followed a similar pattern: Far From Home received its first trailer seven months before release, and No Way Home released its trailer just under four months before hitting theaters. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is currently on track to release its trailer within that same timeframe.

Everyone is excited for the trailer of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Although some fans hoped to see it during the Super Bowl – a popular event for trailer reveals – it seems the wait might be a little longer. However, considering Marvel’s history, fans could receive the trailer around Valentine’s Day. Here’s a prediction of when the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer will likely drop.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Will Not Have a Super Bowl Spot

Because trailers for Spider-Man: Brand New Day weren’t released during the holidays—especially with the multiple trailers for Avengers: Doomsday coming out—many people thought a teaser would appear during the Super Bowl. Marvel has previously used the Super Bowl to launch trailers for films like Thunderbolts, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. The first looks at Captain America: The First Avenger, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Deadpool & Wolverine all premiered during the Super Bowl, leading fans to believe Spider-Man: Brand New Day would follow suit.

As a huge movie fan, I was checking for trailers, and it looks like we won’t be seeing a Spider-Man: Brand New Day spot during the Super Bowl. Apparently, Disney handled the marketing for previous trailers, but Sony Pictures is leading the charge this time. Sony doesn’t usually spend the big bucks for a Super Bowl ad – the last time they did was for the Adam Driver film 65 back in 2023 – and it seems they’re skipping it for Spider-Man too. They’re probably planning to release the trailer after the Super Bowl buzz dies down.

Movie studios usually release major trailers ahead of big new films, except during the holidays when they aim to show them before the most popular movie currently playing. That’s why Warner Bros. released a short preview of Supergirl to be shown with Disney’s Avatar: Fire and Ash. When Sony Pictures decided not to launch the trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day alongside Anaconda (released December 25, 2025) or 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (January 18, 2026), it strongly suggests the trailer will premiere with Sony Pictures Animation’s Goat instead.

Marvel has consistently used the beginning of February, around Valentine’s Day and Presidents’ Day weekend, to launch key marketing campaigns. For example, the second trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 debuted on February 12, 2023, before Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hit theaters. In 2024, on Valentine’s Day, Marvel announced the cast for The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Then, on February 4, 2025, the first trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps was released alongside showings of Captain America: Brave New World, which premiered in theaters on February 14th.

Based on current projections, the trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is expected to debut the week of February 9th to 13th, 2026. This will be after Super Bowl LX and before the movie Goat comes out.
