Ella Thomas from Love Island and her boyfriend, Charlton Athletic footballer Lloyd Jones, have reportedly ended their year-long relationship.
The 25-year-old reality TV personality and the 30-year-old soccer player confirmed their relationship on Instagram last year.
It seems Ella and Lloyd have ended their relationship, as they’ve both removed all photos of each other from Instagram.
The pair have also unfollowed each other on the social media app.
The Sun reported that Ella’s former Love Island partner, Tyrique Hyde, quickly reached out to her after they broke up.
People were surprised when he apparently had a friend, PK Humble, call Ella during a live stream. Ella answered, but the conversation was reportedly awkward, as she wondered why one of his friends was contacting her.
The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Ella for comment.
Last May, Lloyd publicly revealed his relationship with Ella by sharing a heartwarming photo of her cheering him on as he received his team’s Player of the Season award.
Ella later reciprocated by posting a series of affectionate photos with her new boyfriend from their date.
The reality star looked stunning in a low-cut black dress as she rode in the car with her stylish boyfriend.
The couple looked close and comfortable together as they took a selfie, seemingly at an awards show.
She then shared a quick mirror selfie taken in the elevator while on her way to the glamorous event.
Ella captioned the snaps: ‘Recently,’ with a black heart emoji.
This happened after her ex-boyfriend, Tyrique – who she met on Love Island – seemed to make a veiled comment about their recent breakup.
After Lloyd’s post, Tyrique responded by sharing an old photo on his Instagram Stories – it showed him during a confessional on Love Island.
He looks incredibly happy in the photo, smiling directly at the camera, but the caption says something completely different: ‘I’m actually very sad, honestly.’
Fans quickly picked up on the timing, and many thought it was a veiled comment about Ella recently going public with her new partner.
Ella and Tyrique first connected on the tenth season of the dating show, and their relationship faced several challenges and dramatic moments.
They left the villa together, seemingly happier and more connected than before.
The couple announced their breakup just after leaving the villa in November 2023, but they later decided to try and work things out again.
A source told the Daily Mail: ‘Ella and Tyrique have decided it’s time to go their separate ways.
Despite a strong connection, they frequently clash and argue, as was often seen by viewers during their time in the villa.
Ella and Tyrique finished third on Love Island this summer. Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki were the runners-up, and Jess Harding and Sammy Root won the series.
