Jennifer Lawrence braves the snow for sidewalk stroll with her baby son in New York City

Jennifer Lawrence was spotted out and about in New York City on Tuesday, taking her baby son for a walk despite the snowy conditions.

The 35-year-old Academy Award-winning actress and her husband, Cooke Maroney, welcomed their second child in early 2025. They haven’t announced the baby’s name yet.

Lawrence and the art gallery director are also parents to son Cy, who was born in February 2022.

During their outing, Lawrence looked every bit the doting mom as she pushed the baby in a stroller.

The baby was wrapped in cozy blanket and had on adorable pair of tan winter boots. 

Only a few weeks before, the singer known as Die My Love shared that, of everything she’s achieved, she feels most strongly connected to her role as a stay-at-home mom to her two sons.

The Hunger Games alum looked radiant as she went makeup-free for her winter outing.

With the cold weather in New York City, she wore a soft, dark brown hat and let her blonde hair flow freely.

Lawrence stayed warm with a dark gray puffer coat, wearing a light gray shirt and a white sweater underneath.

She also appeared to be wearing navy blue balloon pants or ski pants.

The actress, known for her role in Red Sparrow, finished her outfit with brown suede boots and a black, boxy purse.

Last month, Lawrece shared personal details about her life with her husband and children during an appearance on the SmartLess podcast.

The actress shared with Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, and Sean Hayes that she loves spending peaceful moments with her family when she’s not filming movies or traveling for work.

‘That’s me. I identify as a stay-at-home mom. But I am obviously working,’ she said on the podcast. 

‘I’m not used to being busy like this,’ she said during her press tour amid award show seasons. 

She’s been promoting her new psychological thriller, Die My Love, which came out in November and features her alongside Robert Pattinson.

Jennifer Lawrence received a Best Actress nomination at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards for her work in the movie.

According to IMDb, the movie has won three awards and received 39 nominations from film award shows worldwide.

Lawrence explained on the podcast that even though filming is demanding and usually takes about three months, it’s actually a peaceful time because she can focus solely on that one thing.

She explained her routine as simply going to work, coming home, and sleeping, repeating the cycle day after day. She added that the two weeks spent promoting something were especially busy and stressful.

Lawrence shared that she avoids interviews late at night because she prioritizes a consistent bedtime routine for herself and her children.

She said she’s usually in bed by 9:15, reading on her Kindle, when asked if she ever works nights.

Lawrence remembered declining a Christmas party invitation last year because it wasn’t scheduled to begin until 9 p.m.

Having a hangover just isn’t possible when you have a baby – not even with a nine-month-old, and definitely not with a three-year-old! That’s what she said.

During the interview, the actress shared that she and her husband have discovered what keeps their marriage strong and fulfilling.

Lawrence and Maroney are very different people, but they’ve adjusted to each other since becoming parents.

I ended up marrying someone very different from myself. He’s incredibly organized – a real stabilizing force, actually. Everything has its place, and I have to be mindful of keeping things tidy and focusing on small tasks to feel productive.

Okay, I understand now – the kids are on a really tight schedule. Breakfast is at 7:30 sharp, and my husband is great at sticking to it. We’ve realized, though, that to have some breathing room in our relationship, I need about 15 minutes of flexibility.
