Zendaya and Robert Pattinson share a passionate kiss before one shameful secret threatens to derail their wedding in first trailer for The Drama

Oh my god, you guys, I just saw the first trailer for ‘The Drama’ and I’m losing it! Apparently, there’s this last-minute thing that could totally mess up Robert Pattinson and Zendaya’s characters’ wedding plans – seriously, the DRAMA! But honestly? The sparks are flying between them in the trailer. Their chemistry is just… unreal. I’m already obsessed and the movie isn’t even out yet!

The two lead actors play Charlie and Emma, a couple about to get married. Their strong relationship is tested when a disturbing secret comes to light during a dinner conversation.

The recently released trailer shows the couple excitedly getting ready for their wedding – they’re practicing their first dance, thinking about what to say in their speeches, and even sharing a romantic kiss.

A seemingly harmless dinner with two friends, played by Mamoudou Athie and Alana Haim, takes a surprising turn when Emma reveals a disturbing secret, causing Charlie to doubt their relationship.

“You need to stop dwelling on this,” Emma says sharply. He replies, frustrated, “How can I not think about it? I’m thinking about it right now!”

The movie shows Emma trying on wedding dresses, but her sad face when she looks in the mirror hints that she’s not sure a wedding will actually happen.

Filming for The Drama took place in cities across the country, including Boston, New York, and Los Angeles. According to FastLane, the production team also spent $2.9 million on shooting in Louisiana.

This will be the third time Pattinson and Zendaya have worked together, following their roles in the upcoming sci-fi movie Dune: Part Three and Christopher Nolan’s new film The Odyssey, which is based on the classic Greek story.

In a recent interview with GQ, the British actor spoke highly of his co-star, noting her performances in all three of their movies together.

He said she was fantastic and he really liked her. He also praised her performance in ‘The Drama’ and everything else she’s done.

I haven’t actually seen her performance in The Odyssey – I only saw some photos and we briefly met a couple of times.

Robert Pattinson will join the cast of Denis Villeneuve’s upcoming Dune: Part Three as Scytale, a character who can change his appearance thanks to the abilities of the Tleilaxu. Zendaya will return as Chani, the Fremen warrior.

The movie was filmed in both Hungary and Abu Dhabi. Robert Pattinson especially enjoyed filming at Liwa Oasis, near the Persian Gulf, recalling a memorable drive into the desert with Zendaya.

He remembered thinking that no other job could offer experiences like these. He felt he was going through things that very few people, throughout all of history, had ever encountered – and it was truly amazing.

Filming Dune in the desert was a really strange experience. I specifically remember shooting my first scene with Zendaya, and it suddenly hit me – ‘Wow, we’re actually making the Dune movie!’ She just calmly pointed out that, yes, we were indeed filming a Dune movie.

Honestly, being there felt like stepping right into a Dune film! It was an absolute blast, and I’m really hoping everyone else enjoys it as much as I did.

‘I think it’s quite fun. I hope people find it funny.’

Kristoffer Borgli wrote and directed the new film, The Drama, which will be released in the US on April 3rd. It’s expected to be available internationally shortly after.
