A video of Jacob Elordi showing a very kind gesture towards Margot Robbie at the Paris premiere of their film on Monday is getting a lot of attention from fans.
A video is circulating online showing the 28-year-old Australian actor walking ahead of Margot Robbie, 35, as they entered Le Grand Rex for a special VIP movie screening.
Oh my gosh, it happened! I saw it with my own eyes! Jacob, he was right there at the stairs to the stage, and then he actually turned and helped Margot with the train of her dress! It was this incredible velvet gown, so clearly Chanel and totally inspired by Georgian fashion – it was absolutely breathtaking, and he was so sweet to help her with it. I swear, I almost fainted!
At one stage, Margot looked down from the top step and thanked her colleague for the romantic move.
Jacob’s kindness was appreciated, but many people are wondering why no one else offered assistance.
It seems likely the event organizers were aware of Margot’s stunning dress and that she’d need to use stairs. Why weren’t accommodations made for that?
It also appears several crew members were available to help, so it wasn’t necessary for the main actor to get involved.
You know, I’ve been thinking about Jacob’s recent behavior, and it struck me as possibly strategic. Could his charming actions have been a deliberate attempt to keep the spark alive with Margot, and maintain that connection for the cameras? It definitely made me wonder if there was more to it than just a sweet gesture.
The actors star as Catherine and Heathcliff, the lovers in a new romantic movie that’s based on Emily Brontë’s classic 1847 novel, Wuthering Heights.
No matter the cause, this moment is just one example of the warm connection between the actors, which was often visible during their promotional events for the movie.
Last week it was reported that Margot had gifted Jacob with a stunning matching signet ring.
Each ring displays a picture of two skeletons hugging, along with the quote, ‘Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.’
It was so sweet to see them get close! After hearing James say they were totally consumed by each other while making their new romance movie, this little moment felt so natural and genuine. It really confirmed what we all suspected – the chemistry between them is incredible!
He told Fandango that they both share a strong interest in the same things, while the blonde woman listened nearby.
Honestly, no matter what the movie is about, if you get to work with Margot Robbie, you’ll definitely want to be close by – within a few metres – the whole time.
He observed her closely – the way she drank her tea, ate her meals, and generally carried herself. He kept waiting for something to falter, for her composure to break, but it never did, he noted.
