Known for not backing down from a fight, Trump responded to his accuser by calling them a “total loser” on Truth Social. He then threatened legal action against the host of The Daily Show. Here’s his full statement:
The Grammy Awards were terrible and nearly impossible to watch. CBS is better off without that kind of show. The host, Trevor Noah, wasn’t much better than Jimmy Kimmel’s performance at the Oscars. Noah falsely claimed that Donald Trump and I visited Epstein Island. That’s completely untrue! I have never been to Epstein Island, or anywhere near it, and before tonight, I’d never even been accused of going, not even by the biased news media.
Noah needs to verify his information immediately. I’m preparing to take legal action against him and will be seeking significant damages. Those familiar with past situations, like George Slopadopolus and CBS, can attest to how these matters typically resolve. Consider this a warning, Noah – I intend to vigorously pursue this.
Former President Trump recently tried to prevent the release of the movie The Apprentice, which features Sebastian Stan in an Oscar-nominated performance as a young Trump. His lawyers sent letters demanding the filmmakers halt all promotion and distribution of the film, but their efforts were ultimately unsuccessful.
