Production is underway for season two of MGM+’s Robin Hood, and we’re getting a lot of new information. Recently, it was announced that Graeme Thomas King, who was in several episodes of the first season, will be returning.
He’ll be a main character starting with the next set of episodes. This means Prince John, the son of King Henry II, will have a much bigger role in the story.
Okay, so the official word on Prince John is that he’s seriously sly. They say he’s really ambitious, but also pretty unpredictable – you never know where his loyalties lie! It’s making everything way more tense in the kingdom, with everyone fighting for power.
The second season will feature three new cast members, including James Purefoy, known for his role in Masters of the Universe, who will play King Henry II.
So, I just found out Colin O’Donoghue – you might know him from Once Upon a Time – is going to play Prince Richard in the new show. Apparently, he’s Henry’s older brother, which means he’s actually the rightful heir to the throne, not John. And get this – the storyline says his fate could cause a full-blown civil war! Sounds like things are about to get intense.
