The Devil Wears Prada 2 is now streaming in the UK – here’s where you can watch it

Good news for fans! The Devil Wears Prada 2 is finally available to stream in the UK. If you missed it in theaters, you can now enjoy this funny and stylish movie at home.

Twenty years after the first movie, “The Devil Wears Prada” revisits Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) as she returns to Runway magazine. This time, she’s leading the features department, navigating the challenges of a rapidly evolving media world.

So, I was excited to see Miranda Priestly and Nigel Kipling again – Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci are amazing! And guess what? Emily Charlton ended up working over at Dior, which is pretty cool.

The original team is back for this film, with Aline Brosh McKenna and David Frankel returning as writer and director. Joining them are new cast members including Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Kenneth Branagh, and Lucy Liu.

The movie, which came out in theaters in May, is now available to stream on Disney+ in the UK, starting today, July 29th. A Disney+ subscription costs as little as £4.99 a month, and Sky customers with the Ultimate TV package can also include Netflix in their bundle.

Not only did The Devil Wears Prada 2 earn over $690 million globally, but critics generally liked it too. Rotten Tomatoes reports a 78% approval rating based on 342 reviews – that’s even 3% better than the original movie!

Okay, so Digital Spy gave it three stars, and honestly, I agree with their take. They called it a rare sequel that actually deserved to happen, which is huge. It wasn’t just fan service – seeing the old crew again and hearing those classic lines was awesome, but the sequel actually added something new and worthwhile to the experience.

The movie is best when all four lead actors – Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci – are on screen together. They all fall back into their characters naturally and comfortably, as if it’s second nature.

Okay, so this show wasn’t just amazing to look at with all the incredible outfits and fancy places. It also came out twenty years after the original, and the creator, Frankel, explained why it took so long. Basically, there was one big reason behind the delay.

We spent nearly twenty years searching for the right concept. We simply wouldn’t consider approaching someone like Meryl Streep with something we weren’t confident in – and honestly, who would?
