Paramount+ has shared a sneak peek at season two of Dexter: New Blood, formerly known as Dexter: Resurrection. After fans were split on how the original Dexter series ended, creator Clyde Phillips and star Michael C. Hall decided to continue the story with this revival.
The show was quickly renewed for a second season set to air in 2025, and Golden Globe-winning actor Hall will return as the lead.
Initial photos reveal the impressive cast returning for the new season, featuring Uma Thurman, Jack Alcott, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa, Desmond Harrington, and James Remar. Krysten Ritter will also be making a special appearance.
Season two will feature new cast members Dan Stevens, Bokeem Woodbine, Nona Parker Johnson, Gabriel Luna, and Brian Cox.
The new season of Dexter: Resurrection shows Dexter Morgan facing off against two dangerous killers – a famous one and another who is unexpectedly terrorizing New York City. On top of that, he’s also dealing with a personal struggle as he navigates a mid-life crisis.
