Amazon Games revealed its new cooperative game, Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles, a mystery where players work together to solve crimes. It will be available exclusively on Luna starting July 31, 2026.
With official approval from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the game will launch in the UK, US, Canada, and across many European countries, coinciding with the start of the second season of the Batman: Caped Crusader animated series.
Solve crimes across Gotham while taking on Batman’s greatest villains
In Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles, a cooperative game for up to four players, you join Detective Montoya’s team and solve mysteries by collecting clues, interviewing people, and connecting the dots. Unlike other Batman games, you play as Gotham’s detectives working alongside each other, rather than controlling Batman directly, all within the gritty atmosphere of the animated series.

So, as I played through the game, I kept running into all these classic Batman villains – Scarecrow, Babyface, even The Joker! It was awesome seeing so many familiar faces from his world. What really hooked me though was how each case wasn’t just a one-off thing; it slowly revealed this bigger conspiracy. Every mystery I solved felt like I was actually making progress and helping to fix Gotham, which was super satisfying.
Original voice cast returns as Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles promises an accessible party experience
A major strength of the show is definitely the return of Hamish Linklater and Michelle C. Bonilla, who are reprising their roles as Batman and Detective Montoya from the animated series. Their performances really bridge the gap between the show and the game, making it feel like a natural continuation of the story.
Plus, you can easily connect and play using just your smartphone – no extra equipment or downloads are needed!
