KADOKAWA, known for its game apps, has begun pre-registration for its new simulation RPG, KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Prosperity for this Beloved City!, on both Android and iOS devices. The game was first announced during the franchise’s 10th anniversary livestream in January 2026 and is currently scheduled for release on December 31, 2026, according to the App Store.
KonoSuba brings an original story, 3D characters, and city building to the world of Axel
I’m so excited about this new KonoSuba game! It’s called KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Prosperity for this Beloved City!, and it’s a simulation RPG. What really gets me hyped is that the story isn’t just some random side thing – Natsume Akatsuki, who wrote the original anime series, actually oversaw its creation! Plus, Kurone Mishima, the artist behind the character designs we all love, is involved too. It feels like they’re truly expanding the KonoSuba world, and I can’t wait to play.
Fans of the show are going to love this! You’ll get to see more of Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin, Darkness, and all your favorite characters – now brought to life in full 3D. Expect plenty of funny moments and wild adventures like you’re used to, plus turn-based battles and a chance to help build up the town of Axel.
I just watched the new trailer for this game, and it looks awesome! It shows Kazuma and his crew getting into all sorts of mischief around Axel, fighting monsters in some really cool battles. Honestly, everything about it – the story, how good it looks, building up your city, seeing familiar faces, and the combat itself – has me super hyped. I seriously can’t wait to play this one!
