Okay, so whatever issues were holding things up seem to be fixed! They finally showed him off during the panel, which was awesome.
This is the second film he’s made with director Levy, following their recent collaboration on Star Wars: Starfighter, which comes out in theaters on May 28, 2027.

Ghost Rider has appeared on screen before – Nicolas Cage famously played Johnny Blaze in two films. However, those movies weren’t connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Gabriel Luna portrayed Ghost Rider as Robbie Reyes in the television series Agents of SHIELD, and this version of the character is considered part of the official Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline.
The release date for Ghost Rider hasn’t been announced yet, but Disney has reserved July 28, 2028, for an unnamed Marvel film. Disney also has other movie slots open in 2028 that could potentially be used for Marvel projects.
Ghost Rider will be released in 2028.
