Brawl Stars Gale Guide – Attacks & Stats Per Level
Gale’s primary attack, Polar Vortex, lets her throw six snowballs at enemies from a distance. Each snowball doesn’t do much damage, and hitting all six is difficult unless you’re very close. Still, its long reach and wide area make it good for chipping away at enemy health and building up your Super ability.
Gale’s special attack, “Gale Force!”, reaches much farther and covers a wider area than his regular attack. While it doesn’t do a lot of damage on its own, it powerfully pushes enemies back, which can be really helpful for Gale and his team. You can use it to gather enemies for a big attack, keep them away from important targets, or quickly finish off weakened opponents.
Gale’s Hypercharge, Blizzard, significantly expands the range of his Super ability. It also makes him fire twice, and knocks enemies back even further.
Firstly let’s look at Gale‘s stats, since this is the form you start with (stats of July 2026)

Brawl Stars Gale Guide – Which Star Powers & Gadgets are the best?
Overall, Gale has two gadgets:
- Spring Ejector – “Gale drops a bounce pad underfoot, launching friend and foe alike into the air.”
- Twister – “Gale uses his leaf blower to create a local tornado, which will push away any opponents that try to pass through.”
Additionally, Gale has two Star Powers:
- Blustery Blow – “Gale’s Super now stuns enemies briefly if they are pushed against obstacles.”
- Freezing Snow – Gale’s snow balls now also slow down opponents for a brief moment.”
Furthermore, Gale can use the following gears in battle:
- Speed
- Vision
- Health
- Shield
- Damage
- Gadget Cooldown
Brawl Stars Gale Guide – Recommended Star Power, Gadget, & Gear Setup
For Gadgets, we suggest using Twister. It really throws opponents off in objective-based game modes by causing a lot of disruption. Gale can deploy it strategically – on top of the Brawl Ball, where Volley Brawl targets land, when entering Hot Zones, and in other key areas. Plus, Twister stays active for a good amount of time. On the other hand, Spring Ejector isn’t very effective because anyone can use it, and it often ends up helping your enemies more than yourself.
Both Star Powers are really strong choices. Blustery Blow is great for team modes like Brawl Ball because a good shot can stun the whole enemy team. Freezing Snow, on the other hand, is excellent in modes like Showdown or Gem Grab when you’re trying to catch someone. It’s tough to pick a favorite, so if possible, try to unlock both!
When building a loadout for Gears, we suggest prioritizing Damage and Shield Gear. As with our other Brawl Stars guides, we consistently recommend this type of gear because it significantly boosts Gale’s health and damage output.
Brawl Stars – Which Modes Should You Use Gale in (And Which Modes You Shouldn’t)
Duo/Trio Showdown
Gale excels at hitting opponents from a distance thanks to his range and wide attacks. He can also break boxes quickly, allowing him to collect power cubes early in the match. His Super ability is particularly effective for forcing enemies into the toxic gas as the play area shrinks.
Gem Grab
Gale is a fantastic character in Gem Grab thanks to his unique abilities! He can attack opponents from long distances, use his Super to push them back, or create a tornado that blocks enemies from collecting gems. With the wide area and long reach of his attacks, he’ll quickly build up enough power for his Super.
Hot Zone
Gale excels at controlling the center of the battlefield due to his long reach and wide attacks. He can also use his Super to force opponents away from the center, potentially even slamming them into walls with his Blustery Blow. Because of this, it’s difficult to avoid him unless there are many walls to take cover behind.
Volley Brawl
We usually don’t talk about this game mode in our guides, but Gale is incredibly strong in it because of his Twister. He can use the Twister to create space around the ball, preventing opponents from getting close. Plus, his Super ability lets him push enemies away, and both of his Star Powers further help him control the area and keep opponents away from the ball.
Brawl Stars Gale Guide – What Mode(s) Should I NOT Use Gale In?
Heist
Gale struggles to significantly damage the safe unless he’s very close to it. Because his attacks don’t go through enemies, he has to balance defending against opponents while also attacking the safe. Although his Super ability can push enemies back, it doesn’t deal enough damage to quickly destroy the safe.
Bounty/Knockout/Wipeout
Gale excels at controlling the battlefield with abilities that slow and push opponents, making him strong at objective-based game types. However, his long-range attacks aren’t very effective, and he struggles in fast-paced modes focused solely on eliminating enemies. He needs to consistently hit multiple snowballs to be a real threat.
Overall, that wraps up our Brawl Stars Gale Guide!
