Okay, so I just found out about the Mizuno WAVE PROPHECY 13.2 in a colorway they’re calling “Tokyo Sunset.” It’s got a cool look – charcoal, white, and orange. The SKU is D1GA260H04 if you’re looking it up. They retail for ¥25,300 which works out to about $155 US dollars. And the best part? You can snag them right now from Mizuno Japan!
The Mizuno Wave Prophecy 13.2 is a new version of the popular running shoe, designed for everyday wear. Released for Fall/Winter 2026, it builds on the Wave Prophecy 13 with a similar sculpted sole but features updated details in the upper for a more street-ready look.
The shoe’s key feature is Mizuno’s Infinity Wave sole, which runs the entire length of the foot. It’s designed with layers to provide cushioning that lasts and keeps you stable. A lightweight U4ic midsole cushions your steps, and a softer U4icX layer underfoot adds extra comfort. The durable X10 carbon rubber outsole completes the design, making these shoes both functional and visually striking.
The shoe’s upper is made with a combination of synthetic materials and artificial leather, featuring updated details on the heel and tongue, and a more subtle logo. This gives the shoe a sleeker, more stylish look beyond its original design for running. Reflective threads are woven into the material to help with visibility in low light, and it includes a removable insole for added comfort, available in a standard 2E width.
The shoe is also made with sustainability in mind. The inner lining and insole are crafted from at least 90% recycled materials, and the supportive wave plate utilizes a renewable, plant-based material called Pebax Rnew.
