Brawl Stars Grom Guide – Attacks & Stats Per Level
Grom’s primary attack, called “Bud Go Boom!”, is a long-range thrown projectile. He can control where it lands, allowing him to hit targets near or far. When the attack connects, it breaks apart into four smaller projectiles that spread out in a cross pattern. Plus, the attack can go through enemies, letting Grom damage several opponents with a single throw.

Okay, so for Star Powers, I’m all about X-Factor with Grom. It just fits his playstyle perfectly! I usually like to hang back and chuck stuff at enemies because he’s kinda fragile, right? X-Factor makes landing those long-range shots even better – it feels so good when you nail them from way off. Honestly, Foot Patrol’s speed boost seems kinda weak; needing to save my Super just to get a little faster isn’t ideal.

Grom’s ability to attack from a distance makes him well-suited for these game modes. But, be careful and use cover, since he doesn’t have much health. Skilled players using Piper or Mandy can easily defeat you from far away. So, stay towards the back of the fight and save your Super for when things get chaotic.
Hot Zone
Grom’s primary attack effectively keeps enemies out of the danger zone. His Super is especially useful for dealing with groups, as it damages and pushes back all three enemies, potentially giving your team enough time to finish them off. Just remember that Grom doesn’t have much health, so be careful!
Brawl Stars Grom Guide – What Mode(s) Should I NOT Use Grom In?
Solo Showdown
I really enjoy playing Grom with a team in this mode, but going solo can be tough. He just doesn’t have a way to create space for himself except with his Super, which has a cooldown. Plus, he’s a bit squishy – he can’t really tank much damage in close-range fights. And honestly, the maps are so big that it’s easy for opponents to just run away and dodge his attacks, which is frustrating!
Heist
Grom excels at breaking through enemy defenses with his primary attack. However, he struggles against Assassin heroes. Aside from his Super ability, he lacks effective tools to protect himself from fast-attacking heroes like Edgar, Kit, or Gigi.
