Mitch Greer has learnt a thing or two about straight men.
As a trans woman popular on TikTok and Instagram, finding love has required carefulness. She’s learned to watch out for warning signs when getting to know potential partners.
She found him in the end, and the stunning blonde reveals there’s no reason you can’t too.
Mitch, age 26, recently discussed on The Debrief what qualities are most important to her in a partner. She explained she appreciates a man who is decisive and takes the lead, but emphasized this shouldn’t align with outdated or controlling ideologies.
And it all begins on the first date.
Mitch admitted he had somewhat outdated views, adding with an apology, “I just think they should offer to pay on the first date.”
She explained that she considers it a matter of good manners – simply being polite, respectful, and showing traditional courtesy.
‘I’ve spent three hours in hair and makeup, and you’ve just shown up!’
Mitch expects everyone to be polite, especially to those working in hospitality like servers and waitstaff. He won’t accept rude behavior of any kind.
Mitch also explained that she appreciates her partners having close friendships with women, as she believes it ultimately creates a healthier dynamic for everyone involved.
‘I think you learn how to treat a woman better if you have female friends,’ said Mitch.
This stylish woman thinks that dating helps men better understand women’s perspectives and emotions.
Mitch thinks how a man treats his mother says a lot about what kind of person he is.
She advised paying attention to how someone treats their mother, explaining that’s a good indication of how they’ll treat you in the future.
Now that the red flags are out of the way, what are Mitch’s go-to green flags?
This Sydney socialite likes dates with confident people who can lead and make decisions, instead of having to be directed or worrying about logistics.
‘I like someone that plans a date,’ she added.
I realize it might seem a bit old-fashioned, but when I’m with my boyfriend, I just want to relax and not think too much.
Okay, so hear me out. I really love the idea of someone taking charge, being the one who decides what we do, where we go… but please, please let it feel good! Not like I’m being controlled or pressured into some old-fashioned role, or anything from those… ugh… manosphere guys. You know? Just a gentle direction, a loving plan… that’s what I’m hoping for.
