Tom Hiddleston, known for his role in The Night Manager, recently gave fans an encouraging sign about a potential third season, following the somewhat disappointing ending of the second season. The popular spy series made a comeback earlier in 2023, ten years after its original run.
The most recent episode took a dark turn, as both Teddy Dos Santos (played by Diego Calva) and Angela Burr (Olivia Colman) were killed. Meanwhile, Tom Hiddleston’s character, Jonathan Pine, was left seriously wounded.
A third season of the show is already planned – it was greenlit alongside the second. Hiddleston has hinted that work on future episodes is actively underway, and that the storylines are closely tied to current events and the changing landscape in the United Kingdom.
Speaking with Radio Times, the actor hinted that Johnathan Pine will be facing difficulties at the start of season 3, describing the upcoming events as “exciting.”
He updated listeners, saying the project is progressing well and feels like a particularly meaningful role in his career. He expressed gratitude to The Ink Factory for letting him contribute to shaping the story’s development.
