After much anticipation, LEGO has officially revealed its first X-Files set, and it was unveiled with a special assist from Dana Scully herself!
This LEGO set comes from the Ideas collection and was originally designed by 3D artist Brent Waller as a fan submission. It contains 1,478 pieces.
The elaborate set is designed with multiple levels. It starts with a UFO floating above a forest, which is built on top of a replica of Mulder’s office. Though complex, the forest section can stand alone, and Mulder’s office can be opened up or taken apart to showcase hidden props referencing the original 1990s series – things like a tile that says ‘The Truth Is Out There’ and an ‘I Want to Believe’ poster.
Of course, no LEGO set is complete without minifigures, and this one has a great selection! You’ll find Fox Mulder, Dana Scully, Walter Skinner, and even a classic grey alien.
You won’t have to wait long to get this LEGO set! LEGO Insiders members can buy it starting August 1st, and it will be available to everyone else on August 4th.
